Donuts and More

This is a small doughnut shop in a little strip mall on the main drag through Oak View. They’re open early and had a good selection of doughnuts when I stopped in yesterday morning. I tried four flavors: maple, orange and strawberry doughnuts and a chocolate French cruller. They were all quite good. I saw something I thought was a large blueberry cookie and bought that too. I was surprised at how bland it was and it took me a while to realize that was because it wasn’t a cookie but a muffin top — or rather, it was muffin batter allowed to fully spread out until it was the size of a giant cookie. Once I realized it was a muffin it was quite tasty, but definitely not as sweet as a cookie so not really what I had wanted.
Everyone at my office loved the doughnuts. I thought the strawberry was too mild in flavor, but the orange made up for that by being very strong and tasting like fresh orange zest. The staff was friendly and polite, though I did have trouble understanding the man’s accent when he identified the maple doughnut to me. I would come here again for tasty morning pastries.
Oh, lastly my total price came out to less than I had expected. That’s always a pleasant surprise!

Huge size, fresh and great tasting donuts. Much better than the east coast Dunkin Donuts I’m used to.

The best of the best! I have many favorites! Chocolate gazed with custard is my favorite though of all time! Donut holes are always amazing! Every donut is delicious love their coffee too

They have a good selection of fresh donuts. I like the crullers especially. Mr and Mrs Lee run a great little shop with good coffee and extras.

A whhhhile ago they fixed the windows in the front by that car crashing into it. So, that’s no there anymore.
