Barbara Kelly Family Dental

Moved to the foothills in January and found Barbara Kelly DDS. They have a state of the art facility and very friendly staff. It is great to support a local business that gives back to the community.

In July 2014 I was given medication for osteoporosis. In October 2014 my teeth started to break and fall out. Funny because I always took care of and had very good teeth. Living where I do, I don’t have the privilege of picking & choosing a dentist, so I found one that took my insurance and scheduled an appointment. Got in within 2 days. The dentist I chose was Barbara Kelly, Family Dental. Turns out the medication I was given was affecting my teeth. Dr. Kelly explained everything to me and proceeded with my treatment. Since then I have «lost» several more teeth and have had a few more root canals. Every visit has been explained to me and completed almost pain free. Again, I have always taken care of my teeth & have always had regular check ups with a cavity here & there; nothing like the extensive work I’ve needed lately. Today was no exception. What I thought would be a simple filling turned out was another rotten tooth & root canal. Dr. Kelly took her time, explained my options, & did the work I chose. Dr. Kelly did not rush thorough my dental work, and made sure it was done to HER liking, not mine. Will need further treatment and have scheduled appropriate appointments.
I feel very comfortable with Dr. Kelly and would highly recommend her to anyone who is in need of a GOOD Dentist. Getting an appointment is easy. This is a family friendly office & they treat you as such. Oh, office hours are Tuesday thru Friday, 9 – 5.

Having been seen by this office several years ago I was extremely happy with the service and politeness. So much so, that I scheduled another appointment, as well as a new patient appointment for a family member. However, if you ever need to reschedule a new patient appointment, you will NEVER be allowed to make one again. I even gave a 24 hour notice. I understand policy but the delivery of the information was extremely RUDE. They not only lost the new patient but lost a current one as well.
