I rarely order chinese for delivery because i am always disappointed with the turn out. Finally some good chinese!

If you’re not expecting too much, and just need a quick meal that’s not overpriced, this place is pretty good. You get tons of food. I usually get the sesame chicken. I tried the crab rangoons and I couldn’t even eat them, very fishy.

Delivery sucks, I live less than a mile away from the restaurant and they don’t deliver where I live. Should open more miles radius for better service.

China Moon Restaurant is located in a rather old as well as decrepit strip mall. It has opposing parking facing the strip mall and Oakland Park Boulevard but with a rather narrow drive strip in between making navigation through it somewhat difficult as well as hazardous. While I was there, I witness one parking accident and another close call. China Moon Restaurant isn’t really a restaurant. It has no dining tables, chairs or facilities. It’s strictly Chinese takeout and like all other such Chinese takeouts in our area, the food isn’t actually Chinese but rather what might more accurately term as being New York Style Chinese; a heavily sweetened overly thickened concoction, practically unrecognizable in China, basically having evolved in New York City as a quick, cheap, easily prepared food. Though the front of China Moon is hole in the wall dive like unsightly, the interior is spotlessly clean, comfortable, has some waiting chairs and a few magazines to read. As far as the menu is concerned, there is little sense of me detailing it because like all Chinese takeouts, if you’ve seen any one of their menus you’ve pretty much seen them all. I had one of their General Tso’s(a New York creation having nothing whatsoever to do with General Tso himself) which pretty much embodied essence of cheap Chinese takeout meals as are credited to have been the creation of one Chef Peng Jia of the once well-known Peng’s Restaurant on East 44th in New York. My feelings about the food is that it’s really lousy, even in appearance resembling something like one of Nick Tahou’s Garbage Plate Specials. But since its Chinese takeout, in a comparative effort to be fair about it, I suppose I have to say it’s OK, but only for what it is.

I have been ordering from here since I first moved to Fort Lauderdale in 2006. Over probably 100 meals later and I swear to you– not one single bad meal. Unbelievable but true. Order is always ready very fast. A no nonsense place. This is my favorite Chinese place ever to the point Im hesitant to try anywhere else because I can guarantee a delicious fresh meal here. Portions are huge and the honey garlic chicken wings are so delicious !

Great deal. Food is good and plentiful. The place is typical take away Chinese. Well in need of a scrub and a refurb.

This place is surprisingly delicious! It’s located in a plaza, and the outside was not as appealing as we’d hoped. But the people inside were nice and got our order completely correct(even special requests)! The food was so good! We ordered dinner combinations and had enough for 3 meals, each! I would highly recommend the food and the service! And we’ll be eating here again!

The food is very good. For those looking for hole in the wall Northeast style Chinese food, this place comes pretty close. They had chicken fingers… yes, remember chicken fingers? They had the option for ham fried rice… yes, remember ham fried rice? They actually threw some soy sauce/oyster sauce into their fried rice as well. I haven’t seen that since I lived in the northeast years ago. Every dish I got was great — including the chop suey, which they used fresh deveined shrimp in. Wouldn’t definitely go back. PS — take out, delivery only.

Good Chinese food. It’s a small little place, but the food was delicious, and there was lots of it for the price. I was also very impressed by the service, as the man(who appeared to be the owner) was exceptionally polite, kind, and understanding. It was refreshing to be treated so well when frequently places quickly sacrifice service for cheapness and efficiency. Over all, it was a good experience! Well worth trying it, especially the honey garlic chicken, which is to die for.

Pretty good delivery food. I usually get the General Tso’s Shrimp meal and it’s always been great. Their wings are also equally delicious. Delivery time is usually always reasonable and usually under the estimate they give you over the phone.
