Arandas Jalisco Tacos

Having grown up and lived in Southern California for 30+ years, I’ve become very particular and accustomed to exceptional Mexican food. Not necessarily fancy or overblown, just GREAT QUALITY food.
So far after living up here in the Bay Area I have seriously missed my favorite «5-​star» Mexican restaurants & hole-​in-​the-​walls (La Greasy Cucharas)… :)
So I was ABSOLUTELY STOKED when I went to a Taquiza that a colleague hosted (for the unitiated, it’s like a BBQ get together — but with tacos instead).
I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS CATERER. I felt like I was a man dying of thirst in the Sahara that stumbled upon an oasis!
They are a small family operation that only really does catering right now, but they are very reasonable for how much food you get (thanks to low overhead) and they bring everything with them to your location, AND (in my humble opinion) they beat the best Taco trucks on International, hands down!
My highest compliment that I can share is that I literally ate 20 tacos; our host had chosen Carne Asada and Al Pastor for the meat choice, and I got in line 5 – 6 times. I’ve know the host from SoCal also and we were both going on how great the food was.
Suffices to say, whenever someone says tacos, I mention these folks. My biggest mistake is that I didn’t put this on Unilocal sooner for the world to see. Give them a call, you won’t be disappointed.
