Oakland international airport? More like the Kings Court! Top notch chicken fries, Juan even hooked it up with an extra buffalo sauce

I guarantee you that this is the worst Burger King. The wait for your food is always super long especially during peak hour. They’re always out on items on their menu. If they feel like it, they will even tell you their not taking orders for certain item even after you stood in line for 20 minutes.

This place is horrible. I know it is in the airport but for a Burger King it is really bad. I waited for five minutes for someone to take my order(I was the only one in line). Placed my order and asked for no tomatoes. It didn’t show up on the order confirmation so I said again no tomatoes. The employee said that the sandwich didn’t come with tomatoes and I said that the picture showed tomatoes. When the order finally came guess what. There were tomatoes on the sandwich. Also the sandwich and fries were only Lukewarm. I have been traveling quite a bit lately and won’t be stopping by this Burger King again.

I’ll make this short as I feel this is really not worth my time and it’s obvious the owners don’t care. Service is nil. Students would rather discuss charging their iPhones then doing the job they applied for. Food. Consistently bad. Burgers always dry. This is the 3rd time I’ve eaten here. No other choice for a burger in this end of terminal 2 or I would have not gone back here for the 3 and last time. Cleanliness. Also pretty bad. Counter tops Greasy and trash both in front of the counter and in the kitchen. Try subway or anywhere else but this Burger King.

I have this thing about getting McDonald’s and their child-sized burgers while in airports, but OAK did not have a McDo’s, so I had to settle for Burger King instead. Which wasn’t such a bad thing. BK’s version of the Big Mac, cleverly called the Big King, really does taste like the McDonald’s version save they use real onions instead of the dehydrated diced kind. The thing slices of beef patty even taste more like McDonald’s patties versus the heavier charbroiled patties you get on a BK whopper — perfect when I was craving true McDonald’s flavor. I was kind of disappointed that my burger yesterday was a bit tepid and would have tasted better if it was hot, but that’s fast food for you. The reason I never go to BK is because of their fries. They have a double-coated quality that people love but that I hate. This airport location did NOT have the usual BK fries and instead had thick cut taters that I would expect at a Chili’s — that’s good, because they were much better than the usual BK fries. And they were hot. The girl at the counter had a tip jar at her register. Interesting… Having worked fast food in my youth, I’m pretty sure BK corporate wouldn’t be happy about that, but I’d be interested in knowing if I’m wrong about this.

I am not one for stories. Let’s just say if you want to wait 15 minutes for you worse than OK Burger King, then this one is for you.

The cashier was friendly and the food was typical BK but the hip-hop blasting on the radio was a bit much — Nothing like a string of f-bombs to say GOODMORNING!

I stopped at the Oakland Airport’s BK on a flight out one morning. It was about 9AM, and while I was somewhat tired, I think the workers were falling asleep on the job. The breakfast was ok, not really that great and not really that appetizing. Compared to another fast food place like McDonalds, its not even close.

Location: Terminal 2, OAK International Airport, convenient if you’re flying Southwest Food: I’d recommend AGAINST their fish sandwich. That combo did not bode well after the hour flight to LA. Fries were also overly salty. Price: it’s an airport, what do you expect? Small fish sandwich combo rang up to $ 8.07. Bottom line: I’d skip over BK and try something else at the terminal. That, or save some $ and bring your own food.

I was wondering why there was a line at BK in the Oakland airport, near gate 25. People were huddled around waiting for their food. I placed my order for a whopper junior w/o mayo. the service was slow, so now I know why the small crowd of people. got my meal 5 minutes later and had wait around a few more minutes to ask for ketchup, only needed 2 but I got 6. when I asked the server why they don’t leave the ketchup packets in a self service bin, he says they disappear. makes you wonder if the disappearance of ketchup packets is due to the employees over dispensing rather than customers. my fries were hot but thrown in the bag so i had to put back into the carton and my burger was cold, room temp. when looking for a table, they were all dirty. all the table tops needed wiping and sanitizing. ate my cold food, filled out the online survey, read email, wrote this review and I still didn’t see anyone cleaning the tables.

I’m not typically one to review fast food joints but I can’t pass this chance up! I ordered a 20 piece chicken tenders and waited around near the counter. I was watching the cashier making very elaborate arm gestures toward the menu so I leaned in closer to hear what he was saying. He was saying that they only had four of the menu items available. Apparently Burger King ran out of burgers. I laughed a little bit to myself trying to figure out how a Burger King can run out of burgers. I mean really, the paper bag says you’ve been doing this since 1954 so you’re not new at this nor do you have some sort of fire sale going on today… it’s your whole reason for existing! How does that even happen? Anyway. Burger King got the last laugh as I found I received a 17 piece box. I had two pairs of chicken tenders that were stuck together. Technically two stuck together ONEPIECE. Anyway, gotta board now. I hear Fat Tuesday calling my name.

This Burger King is inside Terminal 2, the Southwest Terminal at OAK — Oakland International Airport, near Gate 25. It is one of a cluster of 4 eateries at this part of the terminal. For breakfast, this BK probably has the best grab and go choices of the 4 places to eat. Like: #7 ham and egg on ciabatta with tater tots and coffee. This order, the Free WiFi at OAK, and the leather lounge seats with outlets at the Southwest gates, and what else do you need from your airport at 7:00AM?

Just your typical Burger King. Nothing special other than it’s a lot smaller since it is in an airport and seating is limited.

just stick to the chicken sandwiches since they never have some made and just sitting under the heat lamp, you’ll get yours in ten minutes or so, fresh and hot :)

Although this kiosk has been around for a little while, it doesn’t appear on the Burger King website. I almost passed the kiosk up(I bought some food here on the 1st). It’s off to the side, and is next to Subway and 2 other kiosks. A sign indicating that a Jamba Juice kiosk is coming soon also threw me off(it will be to the left of this one). Some prices(all prices include tax): Double Stacker: $ 4.71. Small Fries: $ 2.51. Medium Soda: $ 2.84. My total came to $ 14.77(I ordered 2 Double Stackers), but I wasn’t too surprised given that the kiosk is at an airport(I would have saved about $ 3 otherwise). I asked for my Double Stackers without sauce, but I don’t think my request was fully met. There were pickle bits underneath the top buns(the Stackers I’ve ordered at other Burger King locations have never had any– I wonder if the sauce wasn’t fully scraped off). I removed them, but the taste of pickles somewhat overwhelmed the burgers. Still, the patties were big(I’m used to them being small). They were also good and not too greasy. I was pleased with the bacon too. My fries were cooked quite well. They were hot and tasty, and not a single one was burnt. They were basically perfect. I know how big Burger King drinks are, and so I ordered a Medium instead of a Large. Still, I could barely finish my soda, and would have been fine ordering a Small. I couldn’t understand something he said(I just nodded like I did), but my cashier was friendly and quick. The young woman who replaced him 10 minutes later seemed to be too. I received my order in 2 minutes, and I also noticed how well the kiosk is designed(there’s a fair amount of space– in other words, it’s easy for customers to stay out of each other’s way). The condiment area is decent(it mainly features straws and salt and pepper packets), and it was very well-stocked when I was around. There’s a fair amount of seating by the kiosk, and the tables and chairs are nice and sturdy(the table I was at easily supported the weight of my bags). The menu is somewhat limited(of course, this is sometimes the case at a restaurant kiosk), but this is still one of the better Burger King locations that I’ve been to. What the hell?

I ordered my «meal» at 9:11AM, according to the printed receipt. I stood there, waiting. While I was waiting, I could see the computer screen displaying my order. In addition to telling the employees what the order is, there is a timer on each order that lets them know how long the customer has been waiting. No thinking is involved. The computer knows all. The computer will tell you what the order is and how late you are in delivering it, all you need to do is look at the computer. And yet the employees at this place were too lazy to bother to even try to find out why my «food» hadn’t arrived yet until the timer on the order had passed 10 minutes. I got through the airport security line in less than 10 minutes. 17 minutes later, I received a cold burger covered in wilted lettuce, and cold fries. I asked for no mayo, so they couldn’t even just grab a burger from under the heat lamp(it would have been warmer), so I can only assume they simply did not bother to reheat my burger *at all*. In 17 minutes I could have cooked myself a hot burger and fries. I would have even had time to grind the meat myself had I felt like it, and mix in some jalapenos. Burger King is pretty awful at the best of times(I’d only eat there if I’m in an airport, and the only other things that are open are even worse), but this one is even worse. This Burger King provides neither fast, nor food.
