It took over two years of living in this neighborhood and going to a crappy laundromat on Bancroft that never washed clothes well, ate coins, and had most of the same dryers broken for me to finally find this place. All of the machines are in working order(usually, and if not they’re fixed by the next time I come). They’ve got regular, triple and mega load machines. Tons of washers and dryers, and enough carts unless you come at a really busy time. They have a couple vending machines for drinks and snacks. The place is clean, and there is always someone there cleaning it. The restroom is pretty clean and in working order. I’m glad I found this place– if I have to go to a laundromat this is the kind I like.

All and all a pretty good laundromat. Big oversize washers(20 quarters) and dryers for large items. I like the laundry baskets you can move to your car for easy loading. Plenty of machines and rarely broken. It is in Foothill, so if you’re not down for the Oakland experience save your money but overall just what a place should be. They even have a wash and fold in house. An attendant is usually around to help you.

This laundry mat couldn’t be in a more perfect area. I go every friday to go and do weekly laundry and it’s very light on fridays, I love it. I love all the machines, there are two walls of dryers, there is a folding area, two tv’s. It’s a nice place to go and do laundry. Great place.

As far as cleanliness… i give this place 5 stars. customer service NOSTARS. It’s nice and very clean inside. My issue was the lack of communication between the worker and I. We arrived at 830… confirmed with the worker that last wash is at 915. Ok, so we start our laundry which were mostly thick Korean blankets and towels. I asked the worker for change because the machine wouldnt take my 20… he said he doesnt have change. I figured its late and being that the location is in deep East Oakland, he could be telling the truth. I go back about 30 min later to buy fabric softer and BAM his cash drawer is full of change. Effin lazy ass. By 10pm we started folding not knowing the place closes at 11. By 1030 the worker was staring us down(very awkward) 1050 he’s threatening to lock us in if we are not done by 11(we were almost done at this point). We exchanged a few words and I reminded him that he said last wash is 915… and that he seen how many blankets we had when we came in… and, that NOWHERE in the facility had their hours of operation. As soon as the clock hit the 11p this mother’effer turned the lights off while we were bagging our blankets up. TF… where they do that at? He ended up calling security, which he also agreed that he really cant be upset because they don’t have any signs with store hours, then asked him to turn the light on so we can finish bagging. I mean, can I wash my panties or nah? Is it coo? Shiiiiit. Bad customer service.

This coin laundry is wonderful. First, it’s clean, clean, clean. The owner seems to be there all the time — picking up and cleaning up. There are rows and rows of machines that are in great working order. I went in for the industrial machines to wash king size down and synthetic comforters. I’m not sure about how expensive it is compared with others — I paid $ 7 to shove those two gi-nourmous things into that machine, and they came out great. I think the dryers were about a quarter for 10 minutes but I could be a little off — it could have been 7-ish minutes… kind of like the parking meters in downtown Oakland LOL. The owner really helped me understand what/where/how to use the right machine. Also — there are two beautiful flat-screen tv monitors on opposite walls… while I was in and out they were showing Big Bang Theory and then Hell’s Kitchen or some cooking/living show with Gordon Ramsay. Anyway, highly recommend, if you’re in this area and need to do laundry.
