Casual, no thrills place. There are a few locations in the Bay Area. Has tons of seating between the outside, downstairs and upstairs areas. The 6 of us sat downstairs since it was cold outside and we had the double stroller(so no upstairs) Luckily it wasn’t busy that night so we found seating for our party and the stroller. Order and pay at the counter then take your number to a table. I ordered the San Francisco crêpe(w/smoked salmon) and a child Mac n cheese for my dolls. The food came quick. The crêpe was light. The flavor overall was good. Not a lot of salmon it was mainly spinach. The salad and potatoes were good. The dolls chowed down on the Mac n cheese. For 2 crepes and the kid’s dish our total was around $ 36. Service was good. Our food was brought out and waters were filled. Employees were nice and the place was clean.

Got the New Orleans Eggs Benedict and it was delicious. I like more flavor when it comes to my hollandaise sauce so the Cajun seasoning was a great twist. However, The potatoes could’ve been better. It wasn’t cooked all the way through :( Also, the seating is really tight.

Not sure if their rent went up or what, but a price hike here will ensure that I will likely not be frequenting this place again. Bummer.

I can always trust Berkeley on some late night eats, not too many choices around 9pm on a weekday but you gotta work with what you got sometimes ! Since my friend and I were nearby and we didn’t want to travel to walnut creek to get some Crepes Ooh La La, which is my usual go to spot, so here we ended up. Once you walk in you’ll see a HUGE menu on your left side that has not only their crepes but also their benedicts, pasta, salads, sandwiches, omelettes and everything else. Lots of seating inside and out, I need to come back here again during a sunny day. MENU: Lots of choices! I was feeling for a crêpe but then when I saw their menu, I wanted a Benedict but I contained myself because 1. It’s too late for a Benny and 2. I knew I came here for something sweet. SMORESCREPE: The flavor was there and it does sound like an amazing crêpe idea but it just didn’t turn out to be the way I was hoping it to be. Lots of graham cracker crumbles inside, a little bit of melted marshmallow and light drizzle of chocolate but it barely tastes SMORES-y, definitely needs a lot of improvement because I love the idea of a smores crêpe. And also, the crêpe itself was too crispy for my liking. SERVICE: Overall good. You order your food at the register and then they bring it to your table. Only 1 guy working, cooks and a lady who was running food(?). OVERALL: So it wasn’t a bad experience, I would love to come back on a sunny day and try out their other menu items like their benedicts :)

Since my son & I have become crêpe addicts recently, we’ve been trying to find a new place to replace Crepes Ooh La La in Walnut Creek due to a few bad experiences. We’ve been to Crepevine in the past, but stopped coming for some odd reason. I’m glad we decided to try them out again because the food is good and ordering is simple. They don’t have full table service so you just order at the counter and once your food is ready, they will bring your items to your table. I decided on the florentine crêpe which comes with smoked salmon, spinach, mushroom and cottage cheese. I asked to substitute my potatoes for a salad and boy did I end up with a lot of greens! Everything was tasty, but the salad was almost a full meal in itself so I couldn’t finish everything. My son decided to do a create your own crêpe with smoked salmon, ham and cheese. He kind of regretted having both the smoked salmon & ham since they are both salted, but says next time he’ll remember to do one or the other. He did, however, enjoyed & finished his meal. I ordered the safari cooler, which was very refreshing. It had carrot juice, orange juice, ginger and lemon juice… I believe. Perfect level of sweetness and the best part is that they offer free refills! I couldn’t finish the second half even though it was so good. We’ll be back!

Me and my right hand came in here for breakfast on my birthday. It’s located in Rockridge Oakland. Such a cute little community! The restaurant itself was exceptional. We ordered the Tri-Berry crêpe and mimosas and they were the ! It was my first time having a crêpe and man did they come through for me! I love this place!

Recommended by a friend who lives in the bay. Cute little spot. They have seating upstairs and a good size outside as well. Prices were pretty standard for breakfast in the bay $ 10 – 15 and the portions were big. They have a big menu so you have a lot of choices to order from. I ordered the tofu eggcepcional and some apple juice. The food came out pretty quick and it was good but nothing outstanding. The tofu was actually cooked perfectly and I’ve been to a lot of places that can’t ever get tofu right. It’s a perfect item for a vegetarian. It wouldn’t hurt to give this place a try. Also, my friend ordered the carrot/orange juice which was meh but she loved it! Lol!

Bland. Frozen chicken strips. Dry sandwich bread. I like the sweet crepes. Their non-credit food is no good.

Highly recommend the Benedicts. Do not order pancakes unless you want to pay 12 $ for just 3 pancakes. Service is eh sometimes there nice but most the time there not too friendly.

Rude, rude, rude. Went in this morning to celebrate my mother’s 91st birthday. Our party of seven, we arrived about 11:15 and when we walked in, we noticed there were lots of two– and four-tops, but nothing really conducive to pie party. We asked a waitress if she could help us, and she told us, «We don’t have table service.» We already knew that and we weren’t asking her to take our orders, we needed a table where we could all sit together. I told her that this was my mother’s favorite place, the waitress just shrugged and said, «whatever.» Got it. Whatever. We will never set foot in this place again. We headed over to Lois the Pie Queen, and were greeted with open arms. Crepevine sucks.

For fifty years I’ve ordered French toast and loved it every time, until today at the Crêpe-vine. Twelve dollars wasted on three slice of gummy bread that tasted like ashes. Honestly, how difficult is it to make French toast!

I really appreciate this place. Solid all around. Reasonable prices. Good quality basic food. Generous portions. My go to is Cesar salad with grilled salmon. The staff is great. Consistently polite, friendly, efficient. Superb service. I often took my kids there after school for a quick bowl of soup. Recommend!

A very bright establishment with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are pleasant and work fast to assist you. I had the Santa Fe crêpe with house potatoes and a mixed green salad. It was WONDERFUL. It came about 5min after I ordered(even though the place was packed)! The vegetables were fresh and the crêpe cooked to perfection :)

Amazing! that is all i can say. The portion size is very generous and you will not go away hungry! there are so many options that you can find something for everyone. there is also plenty of seating room both indoor and outdoor. They are also open late which makes it a great spot to go to. I will most definetly be returning soon!

I almost feel like I should be looking over my shoulder as I write this review. After all, haven’t I already given my heart and pocketbook to Rolling Dunes as my sit-down creperie of choice and the Crepes A Go Go truck in the city as my truck creperie?(Yes, I have multiple creperie choices.) But I do find Crepevine a fitting substitute. The big salad of mixed greens and shaved carrots compliments the delicious folded goodness of a warm crêpe alongside crispety crunchety(but perfectly moist inside… [Sidenote: I hate the word«moist».]), well-seasoned potatoes very, very well. And since what I crave most is consistency, Crepevine has done good by me, providing the same great experience every time I visit. There are a few Crepevine locations but I favor this one because of their upstairs and outdoor seating. The outdoor, enclosed patio offers a(shaded) view of bustling College Avenue while the upstairs offers a more intimate but still bright dining experience. Crepevine, keep doing what you do and I’ll keep stopping by.

Food: I ordered the Tuscany, apparently it’s the most popular chicken crêpe as recommended by the cashier. The food came out rather quickly and it looked so appetizing. The crêpe came with salad and fried potatoes. Let me just say the potatoes were so good! I think they had rosemary on them and that’s why they were so delicious. The crêpe itself had pesto and chicken and cheese in it. It was a bombass crêpe. Highly recommend. Service: You go up to the cashier to pay for food, get a table number, and then they serve it. The cashiers were really friendly and happy to answer questions. I asked them for recommendations for crepes and the cashier was able to tell me which crêpe I should get depending on what meat I liked.

This place is so good! This is my first time back at Crepevine since I graduated from Cal, and I still love it just the same. Service — The food came just 5 – 10 minutes after we sat down Food — The crepes here are bomb. We got the San Franciscan and the Bombay. If you want to go for unique, I’d say go for the Bombay. — They make their OJ fresh, so get those to pair with your meal. If you’re 21+, get the adult version(mimosa!) Price — Price is fair. Its cheap compared to the other Berkeley hot spot, La Note. Tip: there’s a crepevine on Shattuck as well. If you’re equidistant from both, come to the College one since the wait is usually shorter.

Had their Tri Berry crêpe and it was just ok. Maybe it wasn’t as tasty because it was to-go… Apparently my crêpe was supposed to come with strawberries, blueberrries and raspberries hence the name Tri Berry. It only had strawberries and blueberries. Service was meh…

This spot is decent. Nice and friendly staff. The area where its located is also nice. We got here a little before lunch so it wasn’t busy at all and our food came out fast. With a wide selection to choose from on their menu. I becomes a difficult task deciding what you want. Sometimes looking at their Unilocal photos helps you decide on what you want. Everything on the menu is good except for a few platters that are served with no protein/meat. You can always add protein for a little extra $. Freshly squeezed oj and carrot juice is always a plus. Also, after your done eating they come out to pick up the dirty dishes, clean, and set up the table for the next customer.

The food is just ok. Nothing spell bounding or astonishing. The setting is simple and not too up tight. You order at the cashier and take a number, and they bring you your order. I usually opt for the tuscany crêpe, but this time I asked them to turn it into an egg white omelet. Sometimes, I’ll just keep it in its crêpe form. The side salad is nothing but tossed greens with a very very every so very light dressing. Sometimes I wonder if they were dressed at all. The portions are insanely humungous. I just think they really use a large ass pan for their omelets, so that the egg is very thin and looks larger on the plate. However, it’s STUFFED with lots of goodies. Definitely one plate could feed 2 – 3 people. I love the soups and the drinks that they offer. My mum got the fish tacos, which I instructed her repeatedly not to get. However, she decided to go with the fish tacos. She was disappointed because the fish was dry. Also the tortilla wasn’t fresh, because they don’t make in house tortillas. She’s never happy with most of the fish tacos she orders at other joints. I tell her, if you want to eat a fish taco, go to an authentic joint, where the fish is caught fresh, and ALL the ingredients are fresh, including the tortilla. Their other options are usually good, like the breakfast items. I mean you can’t really go wrong with eggs and some meat side. The potatoes for me are a bit too salty and dry. Today I felt like pesto time, and I recalled that this joint, which is open around mid lunch, had a great pesto crêpe, called the Tuscany crêpe. That’s why we ended up eating here. Actually, it was the time we were out to eat our lunch that brought us to Crepevine. Most joints open at 5 for dinner, or are on a break between 2:30−5. My mum had to miss the usual lunch time because she was waiting for me to finish up my blood transfusion at the wonderful Kaiser Infusion Center! So we enjoyed our time together, and the fare wasn’t too bad. Good enough is great, when you’re with your loving hard working mum! :P
