Time: 6:52pm/64°F intermittent clouds Purpose: Attended first Friday with couple of coworkers. Set-up: Canopy, 3 convention size tables, rubbermaid tubs, scale, zip lock bags, cardboard boxes of goods(unopened). Staff: Henry himself with one or only daughter on site helping out. Very outgoing friendly at times if you look confused or not sure samples will be handed to you. Cleanliness: It’s dried fruits and nuts so expect some grain of salt/sugar here and there, not enough to make your hand sticky. Eats/Drinks: I got me about $ 3.75 worth of assorted nuts of the same price. You can mixed or match as long as it’s within same price range. The garlic cashews are my favorite never had garlic version ever, it’s dusted with garlic powder, strong hints. Products: Assorted nuts/candies, cakes slices, personal size pies, sour laces, toasted veggie mixed, Japanese rice crackers, inka chips, peanuts, sunflower seeds, pistachios, cashews, almonds, hazelnut, macadamia etc. Punch Lines: Reasonable price, zip lock bags, mixed and match, samples, reliable protein source, friendly, dependable, most items well stock, items separated by plastic see through shoebox type. Tradeoffs: Remember those Sather’s bags hanging on a rotating rack in store corner? You know the yellow/orange color bags with deal of $.59ea or 2/$ 1? Imagine this of Henry’s version but more choices and you get the best of them all in same setting. Final Thoughts: When ever I see his stand I will load up on his goods never know when he’ll disappeared sometimes. The products are not the organic or sulfur free versions just your basic dried fruits/nuts of different varieties. Grab some for that afternoon hunger pangs, hide them in your desk though.
