Delicious food and super friendly staff! I ordered the summer roll and the nuer nam tok salad. I was going for a lighter meal, but not so light that I would be hungry like, 15 min later. It ended up being the perfect amount! The summer roll came with 8 pieces, each about 1.5in in length, and was stuffed with rice noodles and fresh vegetables. The salad also had a refreshing flavor thanks to the lime dressing and was decently filling because of all the beef they give you. I would have preferred less red onion, but that was easy to pick out. Will definitely come back to try other dishes!

Friendly on the phone and kind in person. He asked if I would like a glass of water while I waited for the to go order. I got Pad Thai and Veggies and chicken in peanut sauce. Yum. The sauce was a perfect consistency, a bit spicy. The carrot, broccoli, zucchini and cabbage were cooked perfectly. Shrimp was a bit dry. Tiny seating capacity. Cannot wait to go back and eat in the cozy dining room.

The best Thai restaurant I’ve tried in the East Bay. Order the Spicy Chicken(ground chicken with basil and spices). You won’t be disappointed. Get it «mild» if you don’t like spicy food.

What’s not to like??? My dude tried this place with his sisters and they ate every bite! One sister has allergy to MSG so she asked for no msg. So when it was my turn to take some friends out to lunch, I didn’t hesitate to suggest this place! It was also one of my friend’s upcoming birthday so I said sky’s the limit, lol! We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable dining room and sat in the cozy cove on the right hand side. We started off with the delicious, 6 finger licking Angel wings with the tasty sweet and sour basil sauce. We each had something different: one ordered the peanut lover with chicken, another ordered the eggplant and chicken not spicy, another ordered the pad thai with tofu, and I ordered the yellow curry with chicken. All the portions were hearty and very tasty. The one who ordered the eggplant entrée said it was spicy and she had asked for not spicy and was just going to take it home and dilute it; however, the server asked the cook to make her a new dish, which was a pleasant surprise and she now has plenty to eat for another meal! For birthday dessert, we let the birthday boy order the Thai custard black sticky rice, which I had never tasted. It was sweet and tasty. What more could you want, with good food, reasonable prices, cozy ambience and great service!

Pretty much the only thing open over the holidays, so thankful they were. It was pretty crowded to be expected but the food was yummy, I ordered take out so I can’t speak too much to the service but my food was done within 25 minutes which was what we were told. I recommend their fresh summer roles-Great ratio of veggies and they give you a very modest amount compared to the price and to other Thai places. Parking can be a bit tricky in the area but if you are patient you can find a spot.

really great food and great service! The Massaman Curry is bomb with the Roti pancakes and the Pad Thai tastes homemade! Definitely recommend this place for a cute lunch stop!

Great addition to the neighborhood. Great ambiance, food and very polite server. We were a group of 6, and fit perfectly in the corner. We ordered a variety of dishes both vegetarian and meat loving dishes. We’ll be back!

Amazing pineapple duck curry with rice. Very flavorful and deliciously spiced. Definitely gonna b back for more. A bit on the pricey side but the quality of the food makes up for it.

Stumbled across this place trying to find a good last minute place for a quick lunch, and let me say I’m so glad I found this little gem! The servers were very kind and and made sure to check on us promptly. The udon pad thai here is to die for, it’s seriously a must try! Also the starter coconut prawn that comes with a side of their sweet and sour sauce that is perfectly made. Their crab rice was a little bland and lacking more flavor but paired up with the udon pad thai it was delicious. I can overall say this place is great and I will be definitely returning.

They have been here a year already and I’m surprised that there are no lines at the door. The place has great food. Came in for lunch and we had prime seating at the window. Just had two dishes: curry puffs and noodle chicken. The puffs were steamy hot, filled with potato and vegetables, and had light sweet curry flavor. The noodles were also hot and delicious. They offered desert but was in a hurry today so will try it another day. If you need a good Thai fix, try this place!

I haven’t had Thai food on Piedmont Ave in a while so this place is definitely one that I’ve been meaning to try but just hadn’t gotten around to it until now. Arrived at noon on a Sunday. It wasn’t very crowded and we got seated inside. It was a bit warm inside even though the windows and doors were wide open, but there was a nice breeze so it worked out. I was with a group of 4 so we ordered the mango salad and larb gai to share, and each individually ordered the pad thai to share as two couples. The time in which it took to order and make the food was quick. First the larb gai and mango salad came out. I was a bit skeptical of the spicy level. We ordered both the mango salad and larb gai as normal. But it wasn’t that spicy at all. It was spicy but only enough to get a little kick from your mouth and not down your throat, which I wouldn’t have been able to eat. And they used big chunks of mango in the salad which I really liked because they were nice and sweet but not overly soft. Both the mango salad and larb gai were really good and were portioned well without making you too full to eat the rest of your meal. A must try. Lastly, the pad Thai’s came out after we’d mostly devoured the appetizers. The pad Thai came with shrimp and tofu. It was very saucy which I liked because sometimes once you mix the noodles together, it sometimes ends up dry. It had a nice sweetness but it wasn’t overly sweet where you’d get sick of it. And they didn’t fry the tofu and left it soft, which I really liked. I love tofu but I can easily get sick of fried tofu quickly. I can eat a lot of soft tofu so I appreciated the fact that they left it as is. The service was great. The ambience is casual. The food was yummy. Definitely one of the good restaurants to keep coming back to. Plus it’s right across the street from Mr. Green Bubble, so you can pop in for food and get milk tea next door.

This place has become our go-to for take out. The food is consistently delicious and the service is fast and friendly. Have also had the chance to dine here a few times since the last review and each time has been a great experience. The red curry is so delicious and flavorful. Love their curry puffs. Have tried a few of the specialities including chu chee(lemon grass heaven) and salmon green curry(thick and satisfying). We have gone a few times with our toddler son and they are always accommodating. We get him this peanut lover’s dish and he loves it and it even tricks him into eating broccoli(smothered in peanut sauce). Yesterday was the first time we got the desert, and the black sticky rice. It was iced with a thickened coconut condensed milk syrup, and it carried me back to our time in Sydney– our favorite Thai spot used to pass it out while people were waiting for a table. So delicious. We will definitely be here often, and now we will always be staying for desert!

My mom and her friend recommended Infinite Thai so I decided to come here with a girlfriend. My friend and I shared the shrimp rolls, which came with a tangy, sweet and sour dipping sauce. I had tofu and veggies in a peanut sauce, and she had an eggplant dish. I tried some of my friend’s dish and while I do not always love eggplant, I was impressed as the eggplant was cooked well with plenty of flavor. The rice was also shaped like a heart, which we thought was cute. The staff is very nice, but service was slow. Perhaps the restaurant was understaffed as we noticed only two people working. Even though the service was slow, I would still come back when I’m in the area as the food is delicious and reasonably priced.

Isn’t «Infinite» a rather ambitious concept for a Thai restaurant? «Authentic», sure. «Tasty», maybe. But«Infinite» sounds like something that happens when you get sucked into a black hole and the ghost of George Clooney shows up to reprimand you for wimping out and not going for the extra spicy items on the menu. Once upon a time, there was a modest bagel shop on this corner, and I should know since I lived a block away. Now I barely recognize Piedmont Avenue anymore. OK, that’s an overstatement, but this place, I don’t recognize. Now I’ve been to Messob, the Ethiopian eatery next door before and liked it a lot. This spot feels even smaller, in fact, I’d be surprised if they could accommodate more than twenty diners at a time, but the food delighted me. Temptations abound and not necessarily the predictable ones either. There were curry plates but unusual variations like Lychee Duck and five different kinds of Coconut Curry including Peanut Massaman. I decided to try the $ 18 Udon Pad Thai, which took the classic Thai dish and plied it with Japanese udon noodles. The standard accessories were part of the mix — egg, bean sprouts, tofu, peanuts, and green onion — but also included were a marine medley of scallops, prawns, calamari and mussels(photo: ). It was hot and quite delicious . I only noticed afterward that the seafood meant a six-dollar premium over the regular version. Something sweet appealed to me after all the noodles, and I went for the $ 6 Black Sticky Rice with Thai Custard. A mid-afternoon dessert order must have surprised the chef since it took a good twenty minutes for it to come out. When it did, it was tasty-sweet although even I thought it was too big a portion for a normal appetite. Since mine is larger than most, «Infinite» perhaps, I manged to devour most of it with the custard cut into manageable shards of creaminess and the sweet rice standing in a pool of condensed milk with a bit of an apricot preserve swirled in it(photo: ). Maybe it wasn’t «Infinite» — but it was quite worthwhile. FOOD — 4 stars… creative takes on classic Thai dishes well worth trying AMBIANCE — 3.5 stars… cute, compact but I’m guessing it crowds quickly on a good night SERVICE — 4 stars… a lot of smiles and quite attentive TOTAL — 4 stars… teeny tiny Thai spot with big, bold flavors that beckon

Friendly neighborhood joint with terrific food. Just moved into the area so I was looking for a regular place for when I need a bit of take out luv. This place rocks hard. Get the spicy beef salad that is addicting. The beef is so tender and flavorful. the mint adds just the right refreshing touch. I’m not usually a fan of iceberg lettuce but the crunch and sweetness it adds is delish Don’t sleep on the bbq pork either. Tender marinated pork slices iaccompanied by a spicy pepper sauce. I loved it with the sticky riceto sop up the juices. One major miss: the pad Thai. It was orange. I’ll leave it at that. Remember That tucked away spot where B-Dama used to be? It’s there. They need a bigger sign.

Thai food on a Friday night, sure! This place looked good. How was the food? I wouldn’t know because we got here at 940pm and they turned us away. When I asked to see why since they are open until 10pm they told us they close the kitchen 15 minutes early. We didn’t feel like arguing with them and left. I can totally understand if they said, you can only order to go since we close at 10pm but to totally turn us away when your hours clearly state you are still open is pretty sucky. It’s fine, we’ll just take our business across the street to the Japanese restaurant that gladly seated us and served us.

I’ve been wondering what would pop up in this vacant space for quite some time and I was totally surprised that it happened to be a Thai place literally across the street. I decided to check out the menu to-go to see if they offered anything besides what is the standard Thai fare around these parts. I am a sucker for trying new things(this can often get me into trouble but that’s another story) so I took a chance and ordered the Lychee Duck Curry The description sounded like something I would want in my mouth as the menu was described lychee, roasted duck, curry soup and veggies… hellz yea. The dish is freakin delicious with lychee, duck and other goodies. It actually comes with rice !! It is a good deal. I’m gonna give you guys at 5 stars ! Glad this place opened up in Piedmont area and is def worth a try if you’re in the area.!! service: most of people said it was slow but you know what, It’s worth waiting !! I was on Sunday night ! it was super good service !! i give you guys 5 stars for the service as well ! music is just super relaxing !! love love love and welcome you to our neighborhood. xxx

I was bummed when B-Dama moved but now that I’ve tried this spot about five times I can say it’s a rocksolid Thai joint. Pad Thai is on point, I always get it with shrimp and they’re perfectly cooked. Satay is spot on, moist, flavorful and perfectly grilled. I’m finally writing this because the Drunken Noodles with beef are delicious! Solid Thai eatery and very friendly staff.

Terrific Thai on Piedmont Avenue! Something special is happening at Infinite Thai and it’s blowing the roof off of every Thai joint I’ve tried in a ten mile radius. I came with a couple of companions and all of us were impressed with everything we ordered. From the pineapple fried rice and the pumpkin curry to the satay and the tom yum soup all the dishes that landed on our table were over the top good. However, the service during our dinner here last Friday night was woeful(and is the reason I cannot give Infinite Thai the five stars its food surely deserves). I suspect this is because they are doing a brisk takeout business and not quite able to keep up in the dining room(here’s a thought: hire another server!). It was nearly impossible to order and equally hard to get a first glass of water much less a refill. Once we were finished I had to go up to the counter a couple times to retrieve the check and get to go containers. Service aside, this may be the best Thai food in Oakland, the East Bay, possibly the entire San Francisco Bay Area. But I think next time I’ll get my food go!

Came across this place on Unilocal and heard a lot of good things about their pad see ew. Drove here in the rain, came in, and knew I would have a great experience. Infinite Thai is definitely a very cozy, intimate space. The tables are small and the waiter is very kind. My friends and i ordered the pad see ew, the hampipan?(Forgot what it is called), and the gang pang red curry. Wow, the flavored for all three were really good! I recommend that you check this place out. Even though the dishes are too pricy, I would definitely recommend that you check it out, it’s bomb!
