This is a sad dog park. I walk by it almost daily with my pooch, but I’ve never seen more than 2 dogs there and usually is empty, well except for the local homeless crowd. But it has great potential. So two stars. And the homeless people there are always friendly, so two stars!

So much potential for this dog park. It’s located in a fairly dense residential neighborhood near downtown and Jack London Square, has two fairly well-maintained fenced areas separated for large and small dogs, available water and waste bags… So where are the dogs? I’ve been bringing my puppy here a few times a week to get some off-leash exercise and socialization, but he’s generally the only dog there. Which is disappointing, ’cause the little guy loves other dogs and just wants to get some playtime. Holding out hope for now that the pace will pick up during summertime.

No grass. Just dry dirt gravel and cement. Has water for your babe along with a big stainless steel bowl. It’s an area for large dogs over thirty pounds and small dogs less than thirty. I love to come and let the girls play while we chillax on one of the benches… in the shade. Even though it’s by the freeway, it’s a peaceful place

Basket ball courts, nice softball field and a great little dog park. Close to work to bring my dog to.

Great structure to play on but right under a freeway. I would stop by if you were already in the neighborhood. It’s close to the courthouse.

It’s no baseball field but it does have glass. It’s a bit smaller than a normal field but for softball, it’s perfect. I have to say that if I play here again, I will definitely need some HGH. Last Saturday, I got to play softball with Unilocal friends of mine, it was the battle between East Bay and San Francisco. The weather made this day an awesome day to play. I was a little worried about the night before, it had been raining for a couple of days and I knew if it did on this field, none of us would play. I would regardless. It was the fact that our team had practice really hard to beat the East Bay. They were bigger and stronger but in the end, we won. I think it was our speed, determination, and will to help each other win this monumental moment in our athletic career. Even though, it was a once in a lifetime opportunity, I got to pull in a W for our team, managed to drive a few runs in and hit a double and a single. Of course it would of been nice to hit a cycle. It was certainly a ton of fun and I will always remember how AKA G hit that monstrous home-run during the home-run derby. Sorry about the ding, Mr. Silver SUV.
