Kensington Manor Gardens & Plaza Apartments

We fled this place last month after three break-​ins, a list of repair requests that went neglected for years, and a cockroach infestation that we were blamed for in spite of the landlord making the news over being sued over it years before. In addition, the downstairs neighbors basically beat the hell out of each other every night, including knocking down furniture and screaming at the tops of their lungs. The police were useless and dismissive whenever called. My roommate ended up hospitalized from the stress. The harrassment from both management and neighborhood criminals continued after we gave notice. I ended up having to basically evacuate before my time was even up for my personal safety. No deposit-​return check or itemization has even shown up at my forwarding address, of course. In sum: the landlord is stunningly unethical, the place is a slum, the crime rate is horrifying and I’m very scared for the people still living there.
