Meg Allen Studio

It’s a Friday afternoon, I’m throwing a party the following night for my boo’s birthday and I get confirmation that our photographer is unable to shoot the photobooth. I’m kindof freaking out and texting every community member for advice, and I get a recommendation to check out Meg’s work. I look up her bomb-​ass website and I’m immediately in love with the images. Photographs of beautiful queer community members, fashion shots, butches and babies… YES. SO IMPRESSED. I contact her right away on facebook letting her know about the short notice of our party and crossing my fingers she is available for booking. Within the hour, she replies and says she can do it. Amazing! She consulted with me over text about lighting, backdrop, etc and then arrived early at the event with all of her professional equipment. She consulted with our team of volunteers on set-​up and helped us find the right location in the event space.
She was incredibly fun to work with, laid back, and could totally hang with our rag-​tag space-​themed party goers who were dressed as aliens, Princess Leias, Barbarellas and every other walk of space life you can imagine. I’ve gone to a lot of parties with photobooth photographers and let me tell you, they usually only give you one or two shots and then give you an annoyed look like, «get out of my photobooth.» Not with Meg. She let the party goers have fun behind the camera and shot multiple images of each crew. She had a good time with the group which made a world of difference for our party. Within a few short days, Meg posted the images on our Facebook event wall, in which everyone went bananas at how profresh they looked (and obvi how hot we all were). I would hands down recommend Meg for your event photography needs. She went above and beyond and created an entire experience — not just a product. Book her! You won’t regret it.

Meg is GREAT! She takes amazing photos, is awesome to work with, easy-​going, and super professional. She ran the photobooth for my event and set up/​broke down efficiently and captured some great images to document the whole thing. Then she put the photos from our event up on Facebook within only a few days after the event! Great turn-​around, great results, and really great experience working with her. She comes highly recommended!

Meg is FANTASTIC! I’ve called upon her for a variety of projects from professional quality photos of our office space /​architecture to personal photography of my family and pets. Every interaction with her has been exceptional, her attention to detail is remarkable, and her work speaks for itself. We love Meg! We’ve known her or about 3 years and when we had our son last June we knew we wanted her to capture our first official family photos. She is a natural behind the camera in addition to having a warm and welcoming demeanor. I for one am more comfortable behind a camera, so to be the focus of attention is not always easy and she made our photo shoot very enjoyable and the pictures turned out AMAZING. I mean like, cover of a magazine amazing. She listened to our ideas, worked with the freezing cold and windy elements and turned what could have been a disappointing day into memories we’ll treasure forever. She is great fun while also professional and her work is beautiful. Hire her. Immediately.
