Perfect if you are just starting out in your new place — especially if you are a student. Inexpensive kitchen supplies in abundance. Staff is friendly and efficient. Nothing fancy but what I have bought there has been reliable.

Great place to get cheap kitchen supplies and kids socks. They sell tons of stuff(though I wouldn’t buy any clothes you want to last very long here) for very little money.

this National is one those former dollar stores started by Joe Shoong years ago. looks huge from the outside. the insides looks cramped and small since it’s totally stocked to the gills. goods offered: cheap clothes(3 – 5), household goods, children’s clothes, toys, buys: none, most clothes too small or not appropriate since i don’t crossdress.

once upon a time this was the National Dollar store. i can’t tell you how many times i have been in here since the 80s when my Mom used to drag me in here. i still go here to buy Clothing at a Bargain price and other Essentials. the store still looks the same most of the stuff they sell is still located in the same area as i remember them as a kid. this is definitely a store with a long History in the Fruitvale district and i have many memories of my Childhood at this store.

This is an old National Dollar store… remember those? They have all kinds of odds and ends… from clothing to saints… they have inexpensive curtains and sweat clothings. Everything is cheap here… in price and most in quality also… what I love about this store is they sell old retro/vintage house dresses — the kind women use to wear in the 50’s-60’s… I took one star off cause they tend to follow you around the store as if you’re gonna steal something… it might just be the area, most stores in the area are this way… t
