Oak Laundromat

Been coming here for a few years. This place has a small private parking lot for about 5 – 8 cars. This place is usually handled by one staff member, he is pretty cool. It losses a star because it is in the ghetto, but nobody will mess with you as long as you mind your own business. Pretty good prices in the machines.

O.K. so I am not one to complain, but come on! like why would my clothes not dry fully after being in their dryers 12 quaters later? Why when I pulled my clothes out of the washing machine the new owner, only nodded in agreeance with me after I had her smell my clothes, that there was a foul odor in them! like what was the person before me washing?!:-/ okay so It takes alot for me to become upset, and this took the cake. I tried buying more softner out of their machine only to have the name brand softener I purchased~ «Gain the original» only to find out that it too smelled horrible! like what the!!! :-/​and it made matters worse because I started pouring this stuff into my clothes not realizing that I would have to smell it first! then to top it all off I did not get any assistance from the new owners to re-​wash my clothes! Ugh!!! Now I am trying to find a new place in Oakland, but where do I go?! I Am very disappointed in this place:-(Had a woman harassing me… begging for money. following me around. telling me she did not do drugs or anything! Ugh!!! all this for a quater or two… then I’m leaving… went to make a left turn… behold~! the woman on drugs. walking slowly across the street… did not trip on the fact that she was still in the middle of the street on a green light! Lord help me, I just pray not to ever have another experiance worse, nor anything like this ever happen to me again:-(nor anyone else for that matter~ SMH!!!
