PC Video Center opened some time after 2000 and closed about 5 years later. they sold personal electronics gadgets of sorts but they were more known for their video rentals. PC wasn’t the first in oaktown but they were the first and only one in chitown.
rental rates were roughly @2. if one joined their prepaid plans. rentals averaged out to $ 1-​$ 1.25 each. rental time was supposed to be a day but out of towners got more time. titles were mostly in chinese with english subtitles. limited amounts of american videos/dvd’s also available.
when the «manager» had a falling out of sorts with the owner and left, this video center closed within an half year or so.
before i found this place, i was buying older videos for $ 3. or renting on international for about @2. after finding PC, i seldom bought any more videos.
