After a couple years in the Mission it was time to move to Oakland. And when it’s time to move, it’s time to use Shannon. The Oakland crew was every bit as professional and well-​trained as the SF lads. 2 for 2, batting 100% for Shannon. In and out without a scratch, movers worked quickly and the job came in under estimated time. They’ve earned my repeat business. Cheers fellas!

As Trustee of my parents’ Trust, it was my responsibility to clean out their house in the Sunset District where they’d lived since the 1940s. As you can imagine, it was a sentimentally and logistically complicated job. Keith and the crew at Shannon Moving & Storage carried it out perfectly. My family’s treasures were packed securely, moved quickly and efficiently, and delivered to people and places around northern California to be enjoyed by others in the future. I’m so glad I used Shannon Moving and Storage and wholeheartedly recommend this company 100%.

I’ve used these guys twice, once to move from San Francisco to Oakland and then soon after, from Oakland to San Diego (long story). They were amazing both times– easy to work with, reliable and hard working, but still managed to be friendly and really trustworthy. I’d recommend them to anyone in need of movers in Oakland or elsewhere!

We moved to the East Bay last month after having lived in San Francisco for 17 years. There were at least a hundred boxes, half of which were filled with books, not to mention little furniture items like a piano (which I forgot to mention until the morning before the move).
Shannon Moving was professional, competent, and good humored, from Keith and Peadar on the phone, to David and Robert doing ridiculous amounts of work in a relatively short span of time. They even managed to get the aforementioned piano down 3 flights of stairs, negotiating 90 degree turns without so much as a scratch on the piano (their backs might be a different story). The final touch was an email a few days later making sure we were settling in nicely.
Should we move again (I hope not) Shannon Moving is the only number we’ll need. I can’t think of a single way in which they could be better.
