Star Nail

Love the work they do. I always get he mani/​pedi. The staff is really friendly and fast. Missing one star because their hygiene is, questionable, at times.

$ 15 pedicure. Lisa is fast, thorough, & attentive. I walked right in, no wait on a Thursday evening.
She made sure the water was hot enough, that the massage chair stayed on, and put in work to make my feet look good (they were pretty thrashed, coming in).
Not the greatest nail polish selection, but ill be back

This is by far the worst nail shop in America better yet World History. The best person that does nails was Kevin, but he quit. The owner of the shop hired 2 people that I don’t think have a license to do nails, because they work look like shit. Also, I’ve notice that when I come in to get this one design, they act like they don’t want to do it because I’ve chosen another nail shop to do my nails in which they get jealous or mad. So to avoid the attitudes when I walk in the door, I will teach the staff at my nail shop the design so I can get it done FREE instead of paying $ 10. BOOM Star Nails how you like that. HaHa.

The Best most hood azz nail shop there is, Hands Down! I went (no longer work in the area but might start making the trip) here for years & got the Best & Cheapest pedicures in the Bay Area. Pedis are only $ 15 and adding french tips or a design is only an additional $ 3. I never got a bad pedicure here… that being said though, the place is ghetto as hell & the owner will talk about you (but to you) & if she doesn’t like you she will tell you that the girl that does eyebrows or fills or whatever isn’t there rather than deal with you (lol). The place needs new carpet & is typical of local shops. My pedicure chair (& tub) have always been clean. I’d suggest bringing your own tools, but I would suggest that at most nail salons. (I’ve never had a problem with theirs though.) Great pedicures consistently.

I am a regular here. I always choose this place over Kim’s down the block because it is not as busy and because it is way cheaper for the same quality and designs. Most of the workers here are very friendly and they been hooking me up since I have been a long time customer. =)
One of the only downsides is that parking can be a hassle to find.

I just came to get my nails painted, at a good price, why not?
After a week of time from my visit, I notice white spots appearing on my nails, followed by them peeling.
Paronychia is what I got here, this could have easily been prevented with a little more sanitation.
