Studio Braids

I was unfortunate to end up with a bad appt/​braider with name starting with «c.» After confirming my appt for twists the day before, and the day of, then @ the salon for twists; after ¼th of my hair, and 2 – 3 hrs into it I realize the braider is doing single braids. I should have just stopped payed my dues and left for a different place, but being on a time restriction and after conversing with the braider, we continued. @ the end of the ordeal, come to find out she has done large parts in my hair, 2 days after the braids were done, 2 fell out. My hair was natural and fairly thick and not short enough for it to fall out. She left the front of my head-«baby» hair alone prevent breakage per her assessment, but had tried to maintain the large parts in the front. to save you time, energy and $, If partially into the braiding you are not getting what you requested, LEAVE. Don’t be like me and settle or compromise, b/​c you don’t know how crappy the job will end up, and how much time and energy will be wasted. @ the end your too tired and head is too tender to have them redo it then. Epic fail.

Whenever I come in to get my crop braided, I look forward to watching Africa’s version of movies, oh what entertainment !!! I actually love these ladies. They are great at creating artwork in the hair department, I have been visiting their hair styling studio for several years and they have never disappointed me or any other customer as far as I know of.
