I called Tatjana because I had damaged the carpet in my apartment with a drop of bleach and was about to move and needless to say wanted to fix it so I could get my deposit back and I didn’t want to tell my landlord what had happened; just fix it. I had heard of her amazing talent from a friend and I was on a huge deadline so I called and she was willing to stop her very busy schedule the very next eve to see what she could do to blend the color with her dyes. I was really impressed with her kindness and professionalism, however as it turned out I ended up telling my landlord and he told me not to worry about it; that I had been a good tenant and he would deal with it. How awesome was that!

My bf’s hand woven wool rug had experienced the wrath of an angry ex wielding a box cutter knife. We both got sick of looking at his beautiful war torn rug. I was pleasantly surprised to find Tatjiana to come to the rescue! The destruction to the rug transcended all the repairs she had ever taken on. However, she offered her expertise and explained the game plan to us after seeing the rug. Unfortunately, it had gone years without being repaired, was vacuumed over and used in the interim. Subsequently, this exacerbated the damage. She applied a practical and cost effective solution as she saw fit for the challenge. Ultimately, the repair ended up being way less than expected, and she delivered the results which were prefaced. Her skills, expertise and honest business dealings are highly appreciated. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of some rug restoration!

I had a valuable but very worn Tabriz carpet with multiple rips and tears. A carpet restorer in Sacramento worked on it off and on for over a year but didn’t have the energy to finish the job. Eventually I just took it back, unfinished. To have Tatiana restore it perfectly would have put the total cost well over the value of the rug, but she came up with a creative solution that would cut the cost by half. A month later, it is back in my house and there are no more rips. I think she is fair and very skilled.

Tatiana is an amazing artist. I have used her now to restore 6 very expensive, antique rugs. One of them is very large… about 25′ x 20′. My dog «lost» her breakfast on this rug and we were unable to remove the stain. We tried everything to get rid of the stain including hiring a carpet cleaning service. We finally just gave up and lived with it for over a year when it finally occurred to me to call Tatiana. She made the stain disappear! She absolutely saved the carpet!
In addition to removing the stain Tatiana also restored an antique runner in our kitchen. With use, the runner had lost it’s luster and I was thinking about replacing it. Replacing it would have cost $ 5,000. Instead, Tatiana restored the runner at a cost around 10% of that. It’s important to understand that the true artistry that Tatiana brings to her work is in not OVER restoring a carpet. She doesn’t make them look new… she just makes the carpets look beautiful again but still show their age and antiquity. Like the perfect cosmetic surgery… it doesn’t look like you’ve had a face lift… just looks refreshed. Brilliant, perfect work for a reasonable price. What a find!!!

My Rottweiler gave me a Mother’s Day gift of chewing a hole in my hand made Turkish wool rug in my living room. I thought the rug was ruined and planned on placing a piece of furniture on it. My daughter saw a web site advertised on a car,
and gave me the information. I contacted Tatjana and met her at her house with my rug. She was very professional and gave me hope that the rug could be repaired. It wasn’t long before she let me know my rug was ready to be picked up. When I returned to retrieve the rug, I could not find the spot where my dog had chewed the hole. It was restored to its original beauty and I couldn’t have been more pleased. It was a bit pricey, but well worth it and considering how much work she had to do to make the rug like new, it was not that bad. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needed a rug repaired. I plan on taking my Persian rug to her next.
