UPDATE: I received a call back from the office in response to my messages OVER3MONTHSAGO! It sounded like the same unprofessional, unapologetic and really bored receptionist that was there formerly. Her explanation was that the previous dentist died. When I explained that I was seen AFTER his passing — she said«that was just a trial day of appointments»…What?! How do you do a trial day of appointments but not tell patients that they cannot book further appointment or get any of the work done? THEN not update your outgoing messages to reflect that you will not be returning phone calls for 3 – 4 months… then call me back to reply to my 4 messages from 3 months ago? weird. unprofessional. rude. unapologetic. I asked to speak to or leave a message for the new dentist(it is Priya Singh) so I could explain how I was feeling. She said I could call back to leave a message. Then she hung up on me. Maybe they will hire people who know how to treat customers in the future but I’m left with this horrible experience. Thought I would share.

I haven’t even gotten to Dr. Williams yet; I called because I was researching dental insurance and looking for a new pediatric dentist. I was curious to see if Dr. Williams’ office would accept the insurance I was considering or what plans they didn’t take. I had previously called two offices where the receptionist knew immediately which plans were accepted and what the total costs were for cleanings, check-ups, and so forth. The person who answered the phone here did not know whether the office accepted the specific plan I asked about, put me on hold, and then came back and asked if I had searched the insurance Website to see whether Dr. Williams was covered. At that point, I said never mind and hung up. That’s a lost customer out of sheer apathy and poor initial service.

I took my then 6 year old daughter to Dr. Williams upon referral, to have some serious dental work done. We have had one round so far, and I was pleased and relieved with the care and kindness he and staff showed my daughter. Dental work isn’t easy for most grown-ups, let alone kids! They are very soothing in their tones and words, always explain what they are doing, and were glad to have me and my husband in their with her/them(I have heard of other dentists who don’t want the parents there, which is creepy to me). While I have a dentist that I already like a lot, I would also be happy to see Dr. Williams for myself.
