Server was rude. Food was blah the only thing going for this place is the speed of service. I remember when this place was crowded everyday. I came in tonight and it was empty. I watched as another server sat with her friend as her table behind her was waiting to pay their bill and were ignored. Management did not care. No wonder this place is losing business.

Famous Dave’s. I actually used to work here until found a hourly paying job, I was a server. Made some good decent money here. Anyways I go there still to eat once in a while or to say hi to some friends. But other than that, food taste yummy, staff is friendly, Wings, Flat Bread Pizza, Brisket, Baked Potato Soup, Chicken Tenders, Link Sausage, and more so Delicious!!! They have different BBQ sauces. They have morning early afternoon menus 2 meat 1 side, that’s a great deal that they have there. This place is cool. If you haven’t been here try it out, You’d like it, also have a bar, Patio with tables outside with cover over if it rains or snows, and they have flat screen TV’s inside on the bar side if you’d like to watch a game, News or tv while you eat and if your not into watching tv while eating and your more of a family type spend time and eat together, they have a dinning room side as well. Great place, good BBQ Food.

Stopped in for a quick late night bite at the bar. Clean restaurant with excellent staff. It was a late Sunday, 30 minutes before closing. I got the rib tips appetizer. It came out quick and surprisingly it was hot and delicious. Happy it was a dry rub with bbq sauce on the side. Just a bit dry, but I expected much dryer this late at night. The ribs were flavorfull, but a bit to heavy on the rub for my taste. Famous Dave’s is one of the few good bbq chains.

Let me begin by saying that if you’d like to go to a place where there’s no service, this is where you should go. My experience here was god awful, we came in on a whim, two people craving bbq food for pretty much a month, this place happened to be in the area and we went. There was NOBODY in the restaurant, no hostess, three servers, three patrons AND it still took us about 30 minutes before the server who seated us offered to take our order. She gave us our water and disappeared for that long… nobody should do that. Then, after we ordered our food, it came out in about 3 minutes, how does food come out that fast??? Surely it isn’t fresh. We finally started to eat and the hottest thing on my plate was the cornbread muffin that they gave us, everything else was either room temperature or colder. I didn’t want to tell them to reheat it because I was worried they would make me wait another 30 minutes to even get my food back to me, so I scarfed it down in around 5 minutes and asked to speak to a manager, where the manager didn’t even introduce himself. Their excuse to the long wait times was that the server was doing to-go orders as well, even though they have a bartender there for that… and then the reason for the cold food? He wasn’t sure since the cook there has been with them for 14 years, great reason. Now, just to focus on the food for anyone that’s here to see if the food is good? The food was awful, not only was it cold but the portions are nonexistent, they are on a small ass piece of bread that was stale and I got 3 pieces of beef brisket the thickness of prepackaged ham. TLDR; if you want to wait 3 years before beginning to eat your precooked, prepackaged, and overpriced«bbq,» come here!

Lesson learned, never order take out from Famous Dave’s, you don’t know until you get home that the brisket would be overcooked and dry. The dogs loved it though. Perhaps if the staff didn’t always have their heads buried in their iPhones the product would be better.

This was my first Famous Dave’s experience, ever. Hard to believe and frankly I’m not sure why I had never been to one before, especially if other locations carrying this brand are as nice. I was meeting a friend, we were looking to munch as well as touch base before heading to a networking event nearby. It was very relaxed. Our waitress was wonderful: nice, patient, and attentive. I say patient because I was late meeting my friend and being new to the menu as well as stressing when I arrived I asked several questions and changed my mind three times. In the end, I was very happy with my selection which included ribs, cornbread, and coleslaw. This was a clean, relaxed, friendly, and yummy experience. This was a good introduction to a brand I had not previously experienced. I am not saying it is the BBQ experience you have at a divey spot run by a couple who have spent their adult lives perfecting a slow BBQ temple but it was a pretty darn good experience. I am now a fan of Famous Dave’s, at least at this location.

Just tried to eat here but they would not send out a server … we went in and asked the hostess … She said«you haven’t been helped»… No, the hostess sat us 8 minutes ago??? 5 more minutes after she said she’d send someone out — still no server!15 minutes waiting when the restaurant has no patrons was our limit … see ya famous Dave

I went over to Famous Dave’s for lunch today. Since I came after the lunch rush, I was seated right away. I ordered a sweet tea, and a cheeseburger with a side of macaroni and cheese. The sweet tea had just the right amount of sweetness to it. Also, I really liked the cheeseburger and macaroni and cheese. Both were cooked just right with plenty of flavor. Also, the service was excellent. I am hoping to come back again soon!

I am not the biggest barbeque fan but I have several friends who are! We went out for one of my co-worker’s birthday on a weekday night and it turned out pretty good. The place was practically empty, so everyone received their food quickly. I did eat some barbeque, but what I really enjoyed most was their sides. I could eat their potato salad all day! What was also cool was that they brought crispy chips that we could munch on and that we could use to try some of their barbeque sauces. They make very affordable lunch options with different combinations of meat that will definitely fill you up. The barbeque combo that includes rib tips and delicious brisket is really awesome! The place has a nice atmosphere and it sort-of has a southwestern vibe. I will definitely go back sometime soon!

Food can be good IF you can get waited on for a party of 15 on Sat. Waited long enough and ordered at Red Hot and blue.

I’m having a wedding in 3 weeks and initially we just wanted some kind of bbq for it, my fiancée brought home famous daves a couple of times and I really enjoyed it a lot. Even though the wedding hasn’t happened yet, the manager helping us(David) was extremely helpful and professional. I had originally only asked for a certain amount of food but he fixed my order to fit better to the number of people attending and essentially explained everything to me leaving me with no questions left to ask. We live in Hawaii and our wedding is in Virginia, and he was very mind full of the time difference as well as being patient with us getting back to him. He responded to everything in a timely manner. As for the food, that’ll have to wait a few weeks, but the service so far is excellent. I would definitely recommend Famous Daves to anyone having any bbq at their wedding or event. As for pricing, it’s very affordable. Thank you so much David for making our experience simple and easy!

I came here with my family to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We came in around 2 on a Saturday; the restaurant was practically empty. The service was speedy, and the food delicious. We all split the burnt ends, and they were amazing. I ordered the Georgia Pork, and it was exceptionally good. We tried all the sauces and unanimously decided that the sweet and zesty was the superior. I tried a few of the ribs that my sister ordered, and they were also great. In all, the service was great and quick, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was comforting.

I came here with my parents because I was in the mood for some baby back ribs. I wanted to be able to take some home with me as leftovers, so I decided to order the big baby(full slab) of baby back ribs. Let me explain how I felt about these ribs. It’s almost as if they warmed them up 4 days in advanced and no one ordered them and they kept reheating them every day after that. It was extremely dry and tough. It didn’t slip off the bones like I was hoping and it was just average. It was disappointing because I expected better.

My husband stopped here the night before my surgery. My surgery required me to fast overnight and not eat again until mid afternoon the next day. I knew that I need something very filling and BBQ was my hope. I ordered the two meat combo meal. My meal was brisket, Southside rib tips, mashed potatoes, and broccoli with a side of cornbread. This was a big ass meal and honestly you could and should share with one person. The ribs tips were a little too tough but when you get a good tip it is enjoyable. I enjoyed the brisket but a few pieces were dried out. The sides were just okay and the cornbread was decent. My husband to not be outdone had ordered the exact same except he had sausage instead the rib tips. The sausage was very phallic looking(see pic) hah but he said it was really yummy. I enjoy the BBQ sauce at Dave’s and would highly recommend Devil’s Spit(might have to ask for it like I did), and Texas Pit. The service was on par with any other chain restaurant so it didn’t stand out but was decent. I notice there was new items on the menu in the bar area. It would be something to consider for Happy Hour in the future.

This is a good BBQ chain store. I was happy with the ribs and sides. My preference is always for local BBQ, but this is place was the only offering we found. They have a wide selection of BBQ sauce and try to make the place feel as local as possible. We also had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, it didn’t knock our socks off but it was tasty and worth the visit. I will likely come back to this spot.

This Famous Dave’s is always on the money. I normally do carry out during the lunch hour. The lunch portions are great and the food is always just right. I rarely have an issue other than a time or two they messed up a minor detail. Really nothing to worry about though. The staff is always pleasant and welcoming. I always feel like my business is appreciated. I’m a big fan of the décor which is standard for every Famous Dave’s location. Clutter and more clutter. I love every bit of it. If you frequent for lunch get the lunch card so you can get a freebie down the road. Also I’ve had their cater service a few times and it is always superb. The presentation is always on the mark and no one is ever disappointed at the parties I have been to. Hands down one of the best Famous Dave’s locations I’ve ever been to. *This business is gun carry friendly.

Good for a Southern fix. The best is always the Ribs. I had it with a combo beef brisket but the ribs won out as better. Next time I plan to try the burnt tips(beef brisket) I didnt care for the crunchy green beans– I prefer them soft(canned style). I did really like their sweet topped cornbread! The sauces are great here! Everyone is fat and happy at Daves!

I run into people from time to time that don’t like Famous Dave’s. I’m definitely not one of those people. Eating here or catered, it’s really good. Whether I’ve ordered the chopped pork, brisket, or ribs, I’ve been happy. The sides are good too — and don’t forget the cornbread. I don’t know that I can differentiate between this location and others. Parking is not too hard to find, service is good/staff is friendly. No big complaints. Often eat here with friends.

I came her for dinner unfortunately I have to give it 3 stars since the staff forgot about us for a bit after seating us on the patio. It look a good 5 – 10 mins for a server to appear to take our order. We decided not to waste time and gave him our drink order and food order. A few mins later he appeared with chips and our drinks. Which was good since our food was taking a while. When our All American Feast came out it was hot and delicious, bbq was tender just like our last visit. Green beans looked fresh and the corn wasn’t overcooked. The corn muffins were actually hot for once usually ours are cooled by the time they reach our table. Everything was hot and fresh. I guess good things do come to those who wait.
