Good service reasonable prices takes a little longer than the chain stores to repair but if you want to save a few dollars and live close it’s well worth the experience he’s honest and the receptionist is a blast to talk too

If it’s one thing I can admire, it’s an honest tradesman(or woman,) who does their best to help you with their services and not gouge or overcharge. These types of folks tend to get my business and my endorsement. Such is the case with the folks from Automotive Advantage. I have a 2004 Toyota Echo, and, while not in the greatest shape, I’ve tried to maintain our old car with regular oil changes and service at the dealership, but as time has passed, it seems that they figured I must be rich, because they’re solutions to my problems kept costing me more and more. Well, after our muffler system got decidedly louder, I took the car up and got shocking news; they wanted 1100 dollars for a WHOLENEWMUFFLERSYSTEM. Well, that was money I didn’t have, so I took the car back, uncertain what to do. My dear Mom, who has friends far and wide, told me of a place in Oakwood, Ohio, just past Bedford, where the people were honest and they had a tendency to FIX problems, rather than just replace stuff at exorbitant expense. Sounded good to me, so I ventured forth to check it out. Now, you’d miss the place if you weren’t looking; they have a red sign by the side of the road, and the shop is set back in amongst some industrial garages, but it’s got about 4 bays, and a host of intelligent, nice folks who’ll take good care of you. Brandon, the General Manager, is highly certified, as are his mechanics, and they can do wonders. Laura, the smiling lady who works the desk is kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable. The place is no frills, so don’t expect tea and crumpets, but they do have a comfy waiting room, complete with hot coffee and warm conversation. Another thing, they don’t treat anyone, regardless of sex, age, etc. like a dummy; they explain what they can and will, do with your permission, to fix your vehicle. They talk to you like a human being. Brandon took a look at my car, and gave me an analysis and quote that floored me; my car didn’t need a whole new muffler system, just a flange repair between the muffler and center pipe… I gave the go-ahead and after a bit, I got my car back in tip-top shape. My bill was 100 bucks. The shop also does body and repair work of many types, and I’ve even seen them servicing several school buses for a local school district, so you know they’re into safety. They also have really great, competitive prices for oil changes, transmission work, and all your automotive needs. If you’re looking for an honest advantage in today’s car repair scene, my suggestion, try Automotive Advantage; they’ll lighten your mood but NOT your wallet:)
