Seriously the WORST Firehouse I’ve been to. The staff looked hungover and EVERYSINGLEONE, including the manager, was rude and grumpy. The sandwiches barely had any meat on them and my Hook and Ladder had meatball sauce on the end of the bread. We also had a coupon and everyone was so clueless about it and acted inconvenienced when we asked them to ask their manager. The manager seemed like she didn’t want to help us and was annoyed about the coupon. It was horrible. Eat somewhere else. We won’t be back.

Firehouse offers a very nice, premium sub. But depending on your location, it might make you wonder why you are paying $ 10.58 as I did. This is not my first Firehouse experience , so I was looking forward to lunch and a chance to read the paper. I decided to go with the large NY Steamer for 7.69(photos). The Combo meal is another $ 2.29 plus sixty cents in taxes. It is normally a good sandwich that has Corn Beef, Pastrami, Provolone on it along with mustard, mayo and italian dressing. LOL I skipped the Mayo amd Italian Dressing. Whenever I see Mayo offered on a pastrami sandwich, I think of Woody Allen’s admonishment of Diane Keaton in the movie Annie Hall. «You probably would order pastrami on white bread with mayonnaise, tomatoes, and lettuce? Yeah so; what if I did?» LOL My sandwich had about four ounces of meat and the bun was so steamed that the insides were mush, with no evidence of cheese btw. Ugh! I may be back, but next time I will skip the NY Steamer. So Two Stars, and yes«Meh. I’ve experienced better.» Sorry

Gross, gross, gross! They have terrible vegetarian options and everyone working there was a meathead! There was no diversity in the staff and I noticed that is the case at every Firehouse which is why I wanted to write them up. Id like to see a staff that is friendly and ready to be «on stage» instead of the same old hungover college guys.

Awesome awesome awesome! Beats any sub shop by a mile! This place is packed by noon everyday. But don’t let that keep you away! The line goes fast and when you bite into that steamed sub, your taste buds will be in heaven! I love the Italian fully loaded!
