We were staying at the Forum so decided to try the attached restaurant for lunch. They had specials advertised, 2 for $ 12 on a sign outside, so why not? Well, I’ll tell ya why not… The place was deserted-that was the first clue. Old, cheap décor and mismatched plates-second clue and we should have walked but we were really hungry. We ordered the chicken Caesar wraps with fries and a drink. Rubbery chicken, iceberg lettuce in a wrap dripping with bottled dressing was served with fries that were actually not bad. Ketchup was watered down though. Just don’t go!

I was a bit disappointed. My grandmother, her sister and I decided to try this little café(it’s waaaaay too small for me to consider it a restaurant) out today instead of going to our usual place. The establishment itself is very underwhelming. The service staff is basically sitting on top of you and we resorted to nearly whispering since it felt uncomfortable to chat. I ordered the 8 oz steak which was also one of the specials. We asked for water to drink and received three bottles. I immediately turned to the drink menu to see if there was an additional charge for water bottles, but we saw nothing. Assuming the restaurant caught on to how gross OC water is normally, we drank nervously until we received our meals. My meal included a choice of soup or salad. I chose salad. The lettuce was yellow and underwhelming. It still had a crunch, but the ranch dressing was hot and had a strong acidic taste similar to the taste of cheap dressing. I didn’t finish it. Once my steak came, I immediately noticed the pile of pepper and oregano on top. It was actually over-seasoned, including the mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. The steak was tough, reminded me of cheap steak from a grocery store, and the mashed potatoes tasted instant. If I wasn’t so hungry I would have complained about the luke warm temperature. At the end of the meal, we noticed we were charged for the water bottles. The to-go containers also had this weird black charring on it too. Apparently«they came like that». At the end of the day, I certainly wouldn’t come back. The portion to price ratio sucked and the food was barely subpar. Try something else!

This place deserves no stars! It was absolutely disgusting and over priced! My family and I went for dinner this weekend… I had lasagna… It was overcooked and PLASTIC in it. Absolutely disgusting! It was the most expensive meal we had all weekend and horrible. We all ordered the chef special, every last one of the chef’s special was nasty! And the dessert was only pudding cups, brownies, muffins, anything remotely decent was not offered. The salad was just terrible! I could go on and on. Save your money! Oh and when you order water they give bottle water and don’t inform you that you have to purchase $ 3 bottle water(NONAMEBRAND)!!

We went for a quick bite today. I wish I would have read reviews before we went. We had the same problem with the drinks that I read on another review. We got Iced tea which was not even listed on the menu. Iced coffee was but not iced tea. It was an 8 – 100unce glass and they charged $ 2.95EACH and NOREFILLS. We were also charged an extra $ 1.00 for requesting lettuce and mayo for the burger. food was ok. breakfast is better. but beware of hidden charges.

Food was good — basic diner food, nothing special. Good for a quick morning meal with little waiting. Quick service, but make sure that, if you ask for something to be done special(like egg whites instead of whole eggs because you’re on a certain diet), you make sure they understand you really want it.

We had breakfast and lunch at Angie’s the other day. Both meals were fantastic. The prices are reasonable and the service was awesome. Breakfast was served within minutes of ordering. Everything was fresh and delicious. We ordered lunch at the Forum hotel pool and it was delivered poolside. Their 2 for $ 12 double deals are fantastic. Very inexpensive for a great quality lunch. Next time I stay at the Forum Motor Inn I will eat at Angies!

We went there because we had a coupon. The coupon wasn’t good on the specials. We decided to order anyway. I ordered the chicken of the sea. It described grilled chicken, shrimp, and scallops. I was shocked when it arrived and the seafood was fried. Another shock came when we received the bill. We had both ordered ice tea. The glass was basically a water glass and was mostly ice. We were asked if wanted another. We both got a second. Total for the drinks-$ 11.80. Apparently there were no free refills. That’s ok, but we should have been informed. The food was ok, nothing special. Plenty of other places to eat in OC.
