After looking at the reviews we were very excited to try this place out. We walked in looked at the different donuts and went to order. This old women who has been in the sun to much says they are closed. Nothing was covered up. We walked to our car and when we looked it was 1:04. Really Its not like you were sold out and had to make more. Poor customer service. I will not go back again. The hours are til 1, but on the dot. We walked in before 1. I am sure the owner will not be happy about your service. :(

Pour over coffee here is legit!!! Finally, some Java that is real and crafted well. They use Hario and not Chemex but the result is the same. It was so refreshing to find this place. It’s the real deal for pour over and I’m mad that I found it near the end of the summer. Enjoy!

We took the kids here thinking they could make or decorate their own donuts but that is not the case. Instead, donuts are made to order. The kids still enjoyed their donuts, but the experience honestly wasn’t that exciting. The donuts were tasty but there was a bit of a wait for them to be made. I personally am not a fan of the name, the fractured prune, or the bright décor colors and cartoons.

If you’re visiting Ocean City, Fractured Prune is a MUST! They have another location on Asbury Avenue but this location is much larger. Customer service at both locations was superb. On my visit, I got 3 donuts — which are it and made to order and a specialty latte which was good but left something to be desired. It was supposed to have chocolate and caramel flavoring but I didn’t taste any caramel. Donuts: Morning Buzz, Pebble Beach & Peanut Butter Cup Latte: Milky Way Overall, a pleasant experience and I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the city.

This is a definite must stop by place on your trip to Ocean City! The family will be sure to love it! Where else can you customize your own donut? Hot hand dipped donut flavors such as French toast, lemonade, morning blitz, creamsicle, peppermint patty, peanut butter cup, and Ocean City sand, are short a please your palate. Based in Baltimore Maryland the company got its name from a famous female sports star. You can learn more about her as you sit and eat your doughnut with a nice hot cup of coffee. The ambience is 1950s style and roomy enough to bring the whole crowd. I can see this becoming one of my own routine stops when visiting the shore!

THE. BEST. DONUTS. EVER. Often a long wait but it’s so worth it. Donuts are fresh & hot. Made to order right in front of you! Love the peanut butter one. It’s HEAVEN. I wish there was one closer to Marlton!

Good if you get right out of the fryer and eat them right outside the store. To take them home and let them sit, no good, hard crusty and not worth the calories at that point. Neat concept tho.

In the recent trend of homemade doughnuts coming hot off the presses right in front of your eyes and then embellished per your choice with a myriad of taste combinations — Fractured Prune is the best I have encountered so far. The doughnuts are awesome — simply awesome. They are just tastier and more flavor-rich than the ones I’ve had up in the city from that certain expanding donut and chicken place. Maybe it’s the salt air… or maybe it’s just that the people who work at Fractured Prune are so friendly. There are two braches of Fractured Prune in Ocean City — downtown & South End. Both are awesome but the South End facility stays open later. Yesterday, I had the Ocean City sand doughnut and a strawberry shortcake doughnut. Both came out hot, totally light, and extremely flavorful. You can also create your own taste combination. Def five stars!

We heard about this donut shop and wanted to give it a try since we usually go to Browns. The choices were overwhelming but in a good way. We ordered a dozen of hot soft gooey donuts which were done in minutes and they were fresh, warm & fantastic. All I needed was a glass of milk and our lives would have been complete!

Very friendly service, donuts were made to order, so they come out warm. Coffee was good. I tried the OC Sands and the Carnival, both were so yummy! I initially bought them to go, but when they came out warm, I had to eat them there. So many elaborate choices. Not a place to go if you are in a hurry, but well worth the wait for freshly made to order donuts!

I can’t think of enough positive adjectives to describe the donuts from the Prune. Decadent, delicious, scrumptious, sinful… I think you get the point! LOVED this place! The owner waited on us and personally made our donuts. If you’ve ever done wine tasting, you know you get a list and you check off which wines you want to taste. It was kinda like that. We were given a list and the 3 of us picked 4 each. It was so hard to pick! I personally recommend the Snickerdoodle and Peanut Crunch. Well worth the price and can’t wait to get more!

Everything about my recent visit here was fabulous. The building itself is so clean and cheery… plus there is ice cream and donuts under the same roof. The Fractured Prune shares this location with Johnny B Goode ice cream, because, why not? They actually offer a hybrid donut sundae which I did not try, but I may have to some day, in the name of science of course. Anyway, the lady who waited on us was lovely. We later found out she was the owner after chatting. In addition to these marvelous little donuts, they also serve breakfast sandwiches. My fellow diners ordered those and enjoyed them very much. The coffee was delicious as well. But those donuts though. They are all made to order and just insanely delicious. The combinations of things they put on the donuts are awe inspiring. I think my favorite was the pebble beach, which tasted like a chocolatey churro. What’s not to love there. The thin mint and raspberry chocolate coconut were both wonderful as well. One would think that these delicious little concoctions would set you way back, but a dozen donuts of our choosing was under $ 14. Seriously, it’s the best $ 14 you can spend in ocean city. In response to the other review, we had no wait whatsoever. Everything was made very promptly, but even if we did have to wait, it would have been totally worth it.

Wildly inefficient. The unmoving line out the door is more a testament to the strangely slow pace than the popularity of the store. I know the donuts are MTO, but there has to be a better way than what I witnessed today. Good product; inefficient use of store space and delivery.
I love donuts, but I often find the variety a little lacking. Not at the Fractured Prune! They have delicious, hot, fresh donuts served with a delightful array of toppings made to order. You can opt to try one of their custom choices or make one of your own. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and the donuts are well worth the short wait to prepare. My only complaint, they don’t take debit or credit cards for orders under $ 10.00. As a former retailer, I know that the agreements you sign with the credit card processing companies require to to honor all charges. They have a cash machine, but the machine charges $ 2.00 per withdrawal. That said, the donuts were so tasty that it made up for the inconvenience. Well worth the trip, but bring cash!
