Days Ice Cream

WOW! This place has Delicious ice cream and great service. While ordering we asked one of the owners if the ice cream was made in-​house and he told us that his ice creams come from all over the U.S. like California, they are not produced locally. Day’s Ice Cream Parlor is in an old Victorian House that reminds me of an old fashion ice cream shop from the 1960’s with some seating inside and outside. We were going to try another ice cream shop in town located on Main Street, but we heard from the locals who live in town that that ice cream is not as great tasting as Day’s — so we settled on Day’s.
Now for our order: We had a scoop of Graham Cracker Crunch, Hazelnut Truffle Latte and Chocolate Peanut Butter, and all I can say is YUM! YUM!
This is a MUST TRY place if you are in town — since we are in Ocean Grove for the weekend we will be going back for a few more scoops of ice cream :-)

Days Ice Cream has so many flavors to from which to select. With so many flavors it’s hard to choose just one. Very generous portions. The servers are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is inviting. It’s like sitting on your front porch with friends having a favorite summer treat.

After spending late afternoon hours at the boardwalk and driving through what locals calls «tent city», we decided to stop for ice cream. Days Ice Cream is on the corner of Pitman Ave and is the oldest continuously operated business at one location in OG. It’s sort of hidden as you drive on some of the streets so don’t miss it! They have a covered canopy eating area and looked very charming, so we worked our way around the streets to find a parking spot. Days Ice Cream dates back to 1876 and looks much as it did in the 19^th century with its ornate décor, original bentwood chairs and walnut tables. I love the old fashion stores so this lured me right in!
Inside you’ll find an array of ice cream flavors. To my surprise they even had non-​dairy for lactose-​intolerant folks!
It’s easy to see why Days Ice Cream is ranked #2 out of 16 restaurants in Ocean Grove. The staff are friendly and quick to serve each customer. As like most ice cream parlors, they allow you small samples of the old fashion hand dipped ice cream of your choice before you decide what «oh so smooth and creamy» ice cream will fill your cone or dish!
