The quality of his merchandise will be about the same as anywhere. But he has great personal service. I spent an hour in his store testing different futons. Was great.
I found the right futon for me and got a great deal. Delivery was free per the Unilocal ad.
He even called me the next day to make sure I was happy.

Rick is the awesome owner of this wonderful store! I came with my boyfriend to check out a new futon to move into my new place with. Although at first the prices for his futons were rather discouraging, Rick helped recommend to me his cheapest futons, along with discounts and suggestions to knock down the price (s) a bit. Thanks to him, I believe I’ve saved about $ 120+! I was really glad that he cared about his customers’ shopping needs, and he pretty much covered everything in both to the futon I purchased and my shopping (covers, pillows, etc.)
He also does delivery, and it was really cool of he and his assistant to make an exception for my futon by doing a (late) same-​day delivery, and I was unbelievably thankful.
If you’re in need of a quality futon with a great shopping experience, or even general Japanese décor of any kind, I definitely recommend Gold Coast Futons~! :)
