What ever happens to the standards at Mc Donald’s? When I was 16 my first job was Mc Donald’s the cleaning standard were above and beyond the standard ever 20 mins an employee would have to go to the restrooms and not only clean it but sign his name to every task on the cleaning sheet. Any Mc Donald’s was a place you could count on for cleanliness. I’ve seen cleaner bathrooms in lower Tijuana down a dirt road in the back of a toco stand; then what I just saw at this Mc Donald’s off Oceanside Blv. c-​on Mickey-​Ds’ get it together I know the corporate office would be highly upset to know of your poor standards.

I got food poisoning from this McDonald’s !!! Horrible seriously ruined my day throwing up all day long.

I’m not bashing this place for the quality of food… It’s McD’s… you know what you’re getting into.
This specific location is a travesty. I have avoided it with a passion for a few years now. Only going when it was absolutely needed. I’ve had the night crew demand I pay in cash, even tho they made the food, and I only had a credit card. Needless to say I have left this location at the wee hours of the morning without food multiple times.
This last visit was my last time. They finally involved money. Shorting me my change more than a few cents bothers me. I tried to call the location to get it straightened but the line was busy.
Shotty customer service, wrong orders, and now short changing the customer seem like a common occurrence here. Go to a different location.

I ordered a mcdouble with no cheese. It said «mcdouble no cheese» on the order screen. I received a mcdouble with cheese. I went back in and said «i just wanted no cheese». They gave me a mcdouble with no cheese, ketchup, mustard, or pickles. ONLY ONIONS. What the hell. I gave it right back to them and said «I only said no cheese.» And then that waste of human space dumbass argued with me for a second before realizing how stupid he was and then gave me what I ordered. I recommend going to a different McDonalds. I know no one gives a shit about Unilocal reviews for a McDonald’s, I’m only posting this with the slight chance that future high school dropout asshole reads this and knows he sucks, probably at everything because of his incredibly below average brain.

Once again they messed up my order. I got a 20 piece McNuggets and they gave me a 10 piece. I was upset

Every time I order breakfast drive thru after 1 pm I am told to pull over n wait for 1 minute it now has been 6 minutes n counting

UNACCEPTABLE! We were in a hurry so we chose McDonalds even though we wanted Angelos. We ended up paying the same price for crappier food AND WAITED 20 MINS IN THE DRIVE THRU FOR 2 FRIES, 2 DOUBLE CHESSE, 2 MCCHICKENS & 1 CHEESEBURGER! Completely unacceptable! To top it all off the food was COLD & STALE! So my question is what were they doing for 20 MINS while we sat there waiting for our «FAST FOOD»?
WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION!!!
PS. This is actually the 3^rd time I have waited an unacceptable amount of time in the drive thru at this location, but the first time I am reporting it because I am just so appalled with the HORRIBLE SERVICE!

Dirtiest bathroom I have ever seen at any McDonald’s in almost 50 years. Please clean your bathroom it was beyond disgusting

I don’t eat here, but my dog and daughter’s dog that I dog sit are crazy for the plain burger patties!
I was a little annoyed when I had to pull over & wait for it, but it was all good. They actually rinsed off the salt and pepper when I said it was for a dog! Pretty cool. So 3 stars go to Mc Dognald’s haha

Told the girl at the drive thru window that the Coke seemed a little flat-​not much carbonation. She smiled and asked if we would like some other kind of drinks. We declined but suggested she try the Coke and see for herself that it was flat.
After leaving noticed my sandwich was not the way I ordered it so we drove around to the drive up window again. Asked the same girl if she had tried the Coke and she only smiled and, again, asked if we would like something else.
She seemed in NO WAY interested in fixing the quality problem of a drink that surely must be their biggest seller.
Had this same problem several years ago at a McDonald’s in Escondido that served flat Coke for months and refused to correct the problem.
Makes you wonder if this is done INTENTIONALLY by the franchisee to save money by using less carbonation.
We are on the road a lot. Since we are McDonald’s stock holders we choose to stop at various McDonald’s several times a week.
This and the VERY COMMON problem of having our orders served incorrectly (COLD fries, cheese when we specify NO cheese, no sauce w/​nuggets happen frequently) often with NO apology for our wasted time and gas, makes us feel that McDonald’s traditional attention to quality and customer service is eroding on a corporate level.
You would think, with increasing competition, McDonald’s would want to INCREASE customer service. I wish they would. Then, maybe, our stock would actually go up instead of stagnate.
UPDATE: Three months later stopped in again. Coke is STILL weak. Manager said he would «check the lines».
40 minutes later stopped at McDonald’s off Nordahl in San Marcos and the Coke was PERFECT!
There’s just NO excuse for flat Coke at a McDonald’s.

Don’t like to give bad reviews and I even let things be bad a few times before I actually say something but I just can’t stay quiet anymore. I thought McDonald’s customer service was something they pride themselves on? Ronald McDonald would be very sad with the staff he has at this location. I mean, yeah it’s just McDonald’s but still. They can at least smile, sound like they aren’t hating life by being here, and when I say thank you, give me more than smug, annoyed and sarcastic look. This location is unfortunately close to where I run a lot of errands but I think I am going to start making coffee at home before I head out the door. Unless you enjoy people being rude to you as you hand money over to them, I suggest you steer clear of this place. It is literally the same experience every time I’m here.

So I see my food sitting there and they accidentally put 2 extra hash browns on my tray. The manager notices that i look at it funny and she snatched the 2 hash browns off my try and put them back to serve to someone else. I called her out on it and she said she threw them away…
So thanks for going out of your way to piss me off. I would have eaten the extra food and not let it go to waste. Even if you did throw it away you’re filling up your trash cans and pissing off your customers so it’s lose-​lose for yall. 100% order accuracy my as$.
And my Mc muffin was burnt…

The Mcdonalds on Camp Pendleton by the Beach is the WORST Store ive ever been to.

Last night I went withy family and the service was just bad!!! My food was burned my ice coffee tasted bad. I don’t understand why would they give me a burned hamburger like really you guys saw it and still wrapped it up and served it out. And there was no way I could go back we went through the drive thru very disappointed

I came for breakfast, and took it to go. Used the restroom while waiting.
An uneventful experience, so seemed OK for me.

This McDonald’s is worse than the two on camp Pendleton, and they’re nothing to be excited about. I went to this one around 830 one evening, and the person at the window was not only rude, but was on his phone the entire time he was supposed to be helping me. Having worked retail on and off for ten years, I really don’t ask for much. But the guy made me feel like I was an inconvenience. With the phone issue, I wasnt upset. But then he got very rude and messed up my order, despite the fact that I was the only customer there and I waited for a good ten minutes for the wrong order. The manager was there as well, goofing around in the background so I knew talking to her wouldn’t have done any good. I won’t be going to this one again.

I literally just got back from the drive-​thru of this great «American chain» that is McDonalds.
Disappointed, beyond belief! Is my utmost complaint. From the person who had taken my order (after repeating it 3 times) to the girl who handed me my food (didn’t smile or bother to confirm my order). I believe if she could, she would’ve tossed it in my face; was she having a bad morning? I do not know but where was the customer service?
They lacked personality. Whatever. It’s ghetto there

At least in this area, they have a great thing going. Coffee, which is now pretty good at this chain, is only $ 1 for any size (so get an extra-​large) and on this day, they were handing out free samples of their new pastries. Sounds weird from McDonald’s, but they are only about 200 calories and the verdict, if you eat them hot, is pretty good. I tried the cinnamon cream cheese and it was flaky and works well with the java. They also have raspberry cream cheese too. Not sure if this stuff is out nationally, but what’s next — Mc Mac and Cheese?

They should have better star rating especially after they redid the whole interior and upgraded to dual entrance drive thru. I’ve never experienced a super long wait and fortunate enough they get my order right. So this is my go to location for my macdaddies fix
