Oceanside Christopher Credit Union

Oceanside Christopher is a credit union were everyone is treated as family and people know you by your first name. I have a few accounts here and recently went in to open a youth savings account for my newborn son which was really painless. To my surprise, a few days later I received a hand written note from the CEO thanking me for opening the account. This simple gesture goes a long way to show how they treat there customers. The one drawback to this credit union is the number of locations is only two which at times makes it inconvenient to bank with.

My previous review of Oceanside Christopher was written following a particularly difficult experience with them. Prior to our mortgage debacle, my wife and I were truly happy with all of our experiences there. Since that time, we have refinanced our mortgage and have taken out two car loans without an issue. The loan officer — Marie, who eventually took over and straightened out our earlier mortgage — worked diligently to re-​establish the Credit Union’s relationship with us and is the primary reason we didn’t pick up our accounts and move to another bank.
I gave Oceanside Christopher another opportunity and they made me glad I did.
