I can’t believe I am about to admit this on such a public forum, but It is worth the potential embarrassment. When it comes to completely irrational, tear jerking, anxiety elevating fears, there is nothing on this planet that has the ability to turn me into a sobbing baby more than a visit to the dentist. This is mostly because of some extremely bad experiences in the past. Needless to say, I avoid the dentist until the pin is too great to ignore and Advil does not work anymore.
In one such case, I happened to stumble upon Ortiz Dental and, hand on cheek with a look of excruciating pain in my eye, begged for dental relief. They prescribed some meds to get the inflammation down and scheduled me for an appointment. The big day came and you guessed it, I sat down in the chair, baled up my fists and waited for the panic attack to go into overdrive.
I was a mess, but Dr. Ortiz is a Pro and he listened very carefully to me to ensure I felt absolutely nothing. In the past, my dentists would tell me to let them know if I was in pain, but like a psycho out of Little shop of horrors, they would continue because they did not want to pause to give me additional anesthetic.
Dr. Ortiz is extremely patient with a gentle hand. His staff is also very friendly and attentive. Admittedly, i have some work to be done and I am completely confident that I am in good hands. I will never say that I love going to the dentist, but I trust this one to take great care of me.

By far the best experience I have ever had in a dental chair, or any other chair for that matter. This office has the most professional staff and facilities of any dentist office I have ever been in, and they are fair, honest and knowledgeable at what they do. Cant wait to go back, and that’s saying a lot from a guy that hates needles, drills and pain.
