Took my 3 y/​o son to Tage for his first haircut and he was awesome! I made an appt but didn’t really need one. Tage was gentle and made my son feel at ease. When he started cutting my sons curls off I was worried I wasn’t gonna like the result but everything worked out. I loved his haircut and most importantly my son kept telling me that he loved it and was a big boy now. Definitely a good place to bring kids. I will be back!

He’s great at what he does. And he does very good line ups. He also will made sure you are 100% satisfied. He’s actually the best barber I’ve been to so far in oceanside. I won’t be changing barbers. I recommend him and prices are very reasonable, it is well worth the spend. 2 Thumbs up. No complaints! :)

Taper Tage is the definition of superior client care! He went above and beyond for my sons haircut and takes pride in his craft. He’s kind and assertive and stellar when it comes to attention to detail. My son and I were both beyond pleased and would recommend him every time! Thanks Tage! A friend suggested Tage when I needed to get my sons haircut. I called and he told me I could come right in or make an appointment. He was great fixed my sons mohawk. The shop was clean and easy to find in Oceanside. My only wish is that he had a shop in ESCONDIDO.

Fell asleep in afternoon and all barbers in my area were closed. Called Tage and he texted me his address at The Spot in Oceanside. He stayed after hours on a Sunday which I appreciate. Great haircut and took the time to explain difference between fade and taper. Highly recommend!

Tage did such a great job on Apollo’s hair. What I was most impressed about was how patient he was, gentle, and really listened to what we wanted. Apollo have NEVER looked so good! Will definitely be back. Oh and you can’t beat $ 10! What???

Tage was real gentleman and actually a very focused barber. you don’t get that nowadays. he had me in the chair and out in 10 to 15 minutes. i got a great cut/​lineup. and it’s hard to find a barber who can cut my black hair properly. plus he is actually in oceanside.

I found Tage on Unilocal and decided to visit his shop called The Spot Barber Shop (in Oceanside, NOT Escondido). I took my boyfriend and his 3 year old nephew in for some haircuts. He took his time with each one and gave them a clean cut! I loved it! My boyfriend and his nephew loved it too. It’s really hard to find a good barber and my boyfriend is extremely picky with his hair (especially since he is active military) but we were both really pleased he was fast and efficient. I highly recommend this him as a barber (all ages, his great with kids!!), it was a 30 min drive from where I was and its completely worth it! We will be returning!!! Thanks again!
