Amy is an amazing friendly stylist, great for fades and casual men’s haircuts. The other stylists were super cool and friendly. Amazing atmosphere and convenient location, with great prices.

I got my hair done by rebecca, the owner. I’ve been to her a few times to get my hair done, and really loved the way it turned out. So this time i had medium brown hair and asked to go to a dark blonde, but she toned it to a GREY color. I told her how unhappy i was multiple times, and she refused to fix it or give me my money. I have never received such POOR customer service its ridiculous It shouldn’t matter how she thinks it turned out, if the customer HATES their hair they should fix it. I will never come back to this place nor recommend it.

I searched and searched for a salon and stylist that people would recommend. I read all the reviews of The Hair Parlour and everyone was right! This place is Great! I went in for color, highlights, cut and style. James did an amazing job! I have a LOT of hair and gave him fair warning, but he did an amazing job! I spent the whole afternoon there! He’s great, friendly and sings away while doing his job. Thank you James!

I love Rebecca! She is an incredible stylist and such a huge sweetheart! Highlights/​low lights and Brazilian blowout and I am beyond thrilled with my hair. The salon has a very friendly, comfortable, good-​vibe atmosphere, with a very nice staff all around. Thank you so much Rebecca!!!

The Salon was outstanding, this was my second time here. Im not from around here so I looked the place up on here. The first time it was for a simple cut but this time around on Saturday April 2^nd I went in not know what I wanted, I just knew I wanted to look different. I’m not feeling very pretty now a days being 35 weeks pregnant and huge but JAMES BAUER my stylist turned that all around. I just told him I wanted to look different and feel pretty. He worked his Magic and the ending result was more the I expected. He was great at keeping conversation and making me feel comfortable, and his choice of music light rock was awesome along with him signing almost every song that came on. JAMES WAS AWESOME! The place is very clean, neat very well kept. They also provide complementary water, tea, coffee whatever suits your needs. I highly recommend this Salon if your looking for a place to go have your hair done.

James was amazing! I scheduled an appointment for (blonde upkeep) base color, highlights and a cut. When I came in James suggested we try just the base color, and he was right! I didn’t need the highlights, he was able to perfectly match the base to the color left on the rest of my hair. He saved me an hour + of my Saturday and about $ 70. HIGHLY recommend!

A couple weeks ago I visited this salon for the first time after reading Unilocal reviews & now I have to add to the high praise. Rebecca helped me get my dark hair to a full blonde which I’ve been trying to achieve for a while with minimal luck. The salon is super cute, staff professional & friendly and I’d highly recommend. I FREAKING LOVE ASHLEY R. I walked in with long, super damaged hair. After an hour or so, I walked out with a super cute cut! Ashley gave my hair life! I love it, I love her! Super nice, super sweet! Definitely going back!

Rebecca is super knowledgeable about everything hair. I first had Rebecca do my hair when I was my natural hair color (brown) and the last few months we have gradually gone blonde. I love it. She takes her time, she is friendly and funny, and she is a wealth of information.

I just moved to the area, and after going to a different salon in oceanside my hair was an ugly black brown color with a different root color, which i didnt want in the first place. Rebecca did such an amazing job on my hair! she did the prettiest natural highlights. She also got me in that day i called, without having to book weeks in advance! I had some pretty damaged hair and my style was kind of lost. I had Ashley give me an angled bob at about shoulder length and she did amazing. She’s such a sweetheart and so nice. My hair looks and feels incredibly healthy now and I’ve gotten tons of compliments! I’ll definitely be going back.

I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored by Natalie for almost a year now. She really listens to what I want and does a great job giving me a great wash and go hairstyle with color that really works for me. She is always very friendly and just talkative enough, and has great availability.

I’ve been a barber shop guy most of my life, in fact hair salons intimidate the hell out of me. But then I met my girl Ashely Hester and she always makes it easy for me to feel comfortable. Not only does she show excellent professionalism, she also gives a damn good hair cut. As a guy, the worst part of a hair cut for me is telling someone how I want my hair styled, I don’t know the «hair lingo» or how to explain what I want… With Ashely nothing needs to be said, I give her my crazy idea and she makes it work. Not to mention she always has me looking good which is a tough task to achieve. I’ve been getting my hair done by Ashely for almost a year and a half now and I’ve never received a bad hair cut from her. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else to get my hair done. If you ever go to beauty 101 ask for my girl Ashely Hester!

Ashley has done my hair many times and it always looks amazing. It’s got to be hard for her when this hipster wannabe comes in and asks for a hard part and undercut with other dumb requests but she always makes me look good. She even trims up the old beard! I highly recommend her to both the boys and gals. The place is comfy and is always clean. The owner Rebecca is wonderful and has always been very nice to me! I am from the Bay Area, I first started getting my hair done by Ashley years ago while she lived up here. Ashley has a natural talent for hair in all aspects! Great, thorough consultations and will put in her professional and artistic input to make sure the client gets the full benefits out of each visit. Her cuts are always awesome and she is AMAZING at color. I’ve been very pleased with every service I’ve received from her and that is why I happily make it down to Oceanside to still see her! If you want an amazing facial done by a woman that is really a master of her craft go see Katherine! She really takes her time and makes sure you leave there feeling fresh faced, relaxed and beautiful. She gives amazing massages while she works. I love the pumpkin peel!
The prices are great and I always walk out feeling confident about my skin which is big since I’ve dealt with bad skin my whole life.
I also had extensions and bright purple color done by Ashley and she did a fantastic job. Love this salon.

I made a last minute trip to go visit my boyfriend in Oceanside for the weekend. I didn’t have time to get my roots touched up before I left. So I decided to a salon in Oceanside. Found beauty101 and I am so happy I did! I had an amazing experience. The entire staff was friendly.
I had my hair done by Natalie. She did a fantastic job and gave helpful tips for future use. Natalie is amazing.

My hair was long with dead ends with blonde highlights. Ashley R came up with her own idea and transformed my hair into a beautiful brown and carmel balayage. The color turned out perfect and has yet to fade after quite a few washes. The cut was great, shorter and more stylish. I would highly recommend her services and this salon!

Rebecca is my stylist and it has taken me forever to find someone like her. She’s so knowledgable and let’s me know what’s best but also has fun with my crazy cuts and color (multiple colors lol).
