Ricks Steak House

My husband and I were there several years ago for the Friday Night Fish Fry buffet. The food was not good. However, we heard that they have a new chef, so we tried it last night (2 – 12).
The new chef has kept most of the same recipes, we were told. The deep fried fish was very good as was the salad bar. That was it. If you have some teen age boys who you need to fill up with large quantities of food and who are not particular about taste, this would be your place.
However, the wait staff was super attentive. The hostess, Patricia, very helpful and pleasant and the Restaurant Manager, a young man named Drew, did his best to make dinners welcome and comfortable.
Rick’s Restaurant is in the Olympia Inn in Oconomowoc. That entire facility needs updating.
