Best authentic Mexican food in West Texas! We eat here every Friday night. We have tried about everything on the menu. Favorite is the soft corn fajitas tacos. The owners are very pleasant and treat us like family. The food usually comes out in a reasonable amount of time and is always hot and fresh. The band is good and we enjoy listening to the music very much.

MI Casa has to be the best Mexican Food place in Odessa. I had the shrimp/chicken/beef fajitas, my husband had the cook’s special,(the meat they use to make the beef fajitas smothered in queso with grilled onions and jalapeños), my son had the same without queso and Jalapeños. My other son had a taco and combination burrito. The rice, beans, queso are excellent. I loved the food, the atmosphere, the Mariachi band was very talented. The owner of the restaurant checks on his customers making sure all is well. I’m highly impressed! Great place to go!

I’ve been here multiple times. Eaten about everything on the menu. It’s all good. My favorite here is the lengua plate. I’ve never had it the way they make it. Just outstanding. Casual atmosphere and you seat yourself. Service is fast by any standard and the people are genuinely glad your there. If you don’t eat here then your making a big mistake. Period.

This casual Mexican café is the bomb! The service is the best I’ve had anywhere in the world I have been! The owner manager greets you warmly and checks on you and even busses the tables himself before he will call for help. Mr. Torres is one sweet guy. Seeing the way he treats his staff is encouraging to say the least! And THEFOOD is wonderful! Mexican comfort food like Abuela used to make. FRESH tortillas very tasty sauces perfect sweet tea. everything on the menu is good. The cheese is not tough or stringy like in some places but you can tell it’s real not processed. Mr. Torres will ask you your names and he will greet you by name the next time you come in. Wish I lived next door to this place! You cannot beat the combination of great food and wonderful people!

On Sunday morning, while staying in Odessa, we wanted some Mexican breakfast. We found someplace called Jumburrito(with misgivings) and while driving to it, spotted Mi Casa. The parking lot was jammed full of pickup trucks and cars, so we turned around and went back. It looked like a great local place for breakfast, full of local people. Ms T ordered Huevos Rancheros. You can see I the photo, they are served with a thin red sauce that turned out to be very tasty. The frijoles were seasoned and the hash browned potatoes were excellent. I ordered Machaca with Huevos a la Mexicano. I needed a little salt, but was also very good, served with warm corn tortillas. They had a bottle of salsa that I used on the eggs. We could not believe no one has reviewed Mi Casa. It is clearly a local favorite and we had good homemade breakfast. I would certainly return. It wold be nice if we had a Mexican breakfast like this where we live.
