The authentic Chinese supermarket in Midland-Odessa area, more choices for Chinese than the Asian market international in Midland.

The owners are nice but the place is disgusting. Very dirty with layers of dust on the products. I’m hoping that they take care of that because I’d love to have a good Asian market to visit. I just won’t do it at the risk of getting tetanus.

I’m lucky that there is an oriental market here in the middle of nowhere, and a plus? they are open on a Sunday! lol. We go here to stock up on fish sauce, Thai tea, boba, lemon grass, phở noodles and beef balls. Kind of sad that we have to make everything here ourselves since the only Asian food restaurants known here is Thai food, Chinese buffet, and sushi– bought from the grocery store and cooked no less! Poor Odessa we need to upgrade you with some phở places and just a wider selection of restaurants stat! But until then with the few Asian markets we have here we will keep mastering our cooking skills.

They just recently opened and they are getting in more and more stuff each time I go. This is the closest I get to having a south east asian” grocery store in West Texas, like they have in Cali. Not big, but it has the the necessary ingredients to make my phở noodles, pancit, thai curries… etc. There is a frozen section where they have frozen shrimp, fish, mussels, dim sum, beef and shrimp balls etc. The owners are Chinese. I think its pretty neat that they sell asian décor, statue, tea sets, toys etc as well!
