Food is so delicious. Service is very nice. As I am Thai, I would say that It is an authentic thai food. I definitely will come back if I have chances.

On a trip from Denver to Seattle and this was an awesome find as we stopped for dinner. Ordered pad woon sen and tom gai. Both were absolutely delicious. If I’m ever in Ogden again I know where I’m stopping for dinner.

I’ve never actually set foot in this place so I have no opinion on the dining experience one might have here, but I do often order pad thai take out. I really quite enjoy it.

So good! Tied with my favorite Thai restaurant in New Zealand! Hands down beats the numerous Thai restaurants we’ve tried in Southern California. Pork pad Thai is great! Can’t go wrong with the curries, either. I found the service to be great and not slow as other reviewers have posted. Will stop here again for sure!

Great service! My waiter was on top of his game. The Pad Thai noodle dish(with beef) came out piping hot and it was seasoned perfectly. The Fresh Rolls were about standard in flavor with a spiced up Hoisin sauce for dipping. I would imagine other items on the menu would be fresh and hot as well. The dishes are cooked to order, so there’s a little bit of a wait, but it’s not unreasonable. Great little Thai restaurant in Ogden!

Stopped in when I was in the area because of the Unilocal reviews. Pad Thai, drunken noodles, and pad se ew were very tasty. I asked our waiter to bring out her favorite curry. I think she said it was tom ka gai, don’t order this. Pure coconut milk, super sweet, with a few pieces of chicken and mushrooms. It was left untouched on our table. Regardless, I would return just for the 3 other dishes.

Called in for a to-go order while on lunch break was told its 25 minutes. Service was very slow, it was a packed house so it’s understandable but the problem wasn’t with how busy it was. It was with the fact I was asked about my to-go order but instead of the lady going in the back and checking on it, she went to another table and took their order. So I had to tell the other waitress, who did go get it. I still had to wait an additional 10 minutes on top of the 25 minutes I was told. The food was about a 4 – 5 star. I had the lunch special but at $ 12 it was very little portions. After eating I am still hungry. I ordered the BBQ chicken breast, which was dry but the sauce to put over it was great. I then got the tom yum gai(chicken spicy and sour soup) it was good and the spice was perfect but again small portions and it was more sweet then sour and I prefer sour. I also ordered the mango sticky rice dessert and it was a 5 star for sure. Perhaps if they are that busy they should hire more staff. And give better portions for how much you pay.

This place is the real deal. When I was an intern in college, one my fellow interns served his mission in Thailand and he claimed this to be the best and most authentic Thai he had since he returned to the states. Don’t be turned off by the strip mall location, this little gem has delicious food inside. I personally love coming here for lunch because the lunch combos are great! I love when I get to choose two items rather than just having to decide on one. Their Tom Kha Gai soup is the best I’ve ever had. Every curry and stir fry I’ve tried has also been amazing. I’m a big fan of drunken stir fry’s and that’s probably my favorite thing I’ve tried here. Last time I came here I ordered medium, but it wasn’t hot enough. My sister got some extra red pepper flakes on the side so we added to it our dishes and cranked up the heat. I also love that everything here is always super fresh and high quality. The meat, the seafood, and the vegetables are all great.

I love the food and would give it 5 stars, but the last time I went(a weekend in February) it took 15 – 20 minutes for anyone to come out and at least get the people who were there marked down! The place was packed, which was to be expected, but to be too busy to even see customers is ridiculous. The food(such as stir fry and noodles) have this distinct smokey flavor I can’t really put my taste buds to, but it’s what makes this one of my favorite Thai places to go to. I’ve been here a few times, and the service was wonderful but the first time I bring people here the service is awful. I would recommend, but be warned on busy weekends.

Excellent food. We don’t eat out very frequently, but after trying their yellow curry, fried rice and mango sticky rice, we had to go back. So we tried the basil beef, ginger chicken and more mango sticky rice. It was consistently excellent each time. If you’re new to Thai food, I would recommend the yellow curry. Mild +, to be exact. I can’t wait to go back!

Five stars ever time. My wife and I have been here about 6 times now and absolutely love this place. Our favorites have become the fried crab won tons, Pad Tai and Massumum. We’re never disappointed with the quality of food or the service. Their prices are also very affordable. Dinner for 2 with an appetizer and drinks is about $ 35 These guys rock. I highly recommend them if you like Thai food.

Best Thai food in all of Utah — its won best of state 3 years in a row now — Favorite dishes: Pad se ewe Tom ka kai(chicken coconut soup) Green Curry Basil Stir Fry This is a small family owned place and sometimes the service really suffers if they get slammed. Seriously though — most of the wait staff is super young and act like they don’t want to be there. Which is too bad — My wife and I will do take out often, which is always good. When we want to go out out to eat — Aroy D is always in the conversation — 1 of my all time favorites.

Kinda disappointed, but overall good experience. Service was good, although a little slow when the place was empty. The food and drinks here could be so much better: 1) too big a glass for Thai iced tea. We appreciate the amount, but the ice gets lodged at the middle bottleneck and messes up the access to the last bit of it 2) its hard to get salmon right and it certainly didn’t happen here, perhaps retire this dish as its not good. Alternatively replace the salmon with cod and it would probably be amazing 3) banana boat was perfect until I took a bite with ice cream other than vanilla: strawberry and chocolate do not mix with deep fried banana halves Fix these things and you’ll for sure qualify for 5-stars next time

5 Stars for Food — 4 Stars for service. Best Thai food around. The basil stir fry and garlic stir fry are our favorite dishes. The pad Thai is also great. I usually order tofu in place of meat but will just extra vegetables at Aroy-D. The tofu is very plain and not particularly enjoyable. My boyfriend always orders the crab cheese wontons and enjoys them. We definitely prefer take out. We’ve had good service before, but have also had some so-so to terrible service. We’d rather not take the chance and just enjoy our meal at home.

I’m a Thai n00b. And by n00b I mean I’ve had it a couple other places around town and elsewhere and neither have left a real mark on me. This place though… Dang. I crave it. The spice is perfect, the food is mouth watering, it’s addicting. The helpings are huge and the food is on point. It’s a nicer mom and pop type restaurant and the service isn’t bad. I always leave with leftovers. I’ve tried the masaman curry, ginger pork stir fry, and the chicken pad Thai. The pad Thai is BYFAR the best I’ve ever had. It’s kind of the test of Thai food for me. If you can’t make good pad Thai, then I’m a little meh about the establishment. But the pad Thai here… Dreams. I have dreams about it. DREAMS, PEOPLE!

Their stuff was good, especially the sticky rice with mango! I haven’t had any sticky rice that was deliciously soft, moist and tasty before. Other than that, their portions are pretty big, good for a second meal if you want. The lunch special is great with options and for portion sizes. The extra plus was they don’t use MSG! I did take out and saw the environment seemed pretty nice with decorations — great for a date night out. Otherwise, I’ll be heading back once I can make it up that way.

I walked in to Aroy-D with high expectations because of the outstanding Unilocal reviews. Aroy-D has one of the best reputations for a Thai restaurant in Utah; now I know why! My food totally exceeded my expectations. I ordered the $ 8.00 lunch combo with Chicken Massamun Curry and Thai Basil stir fry with chicken. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get my self to order anything else in the future. It was that good! When asked how spicy I wanted my food I said moderately high. It was perfect. It was also great to be able to taste so many dishes for $ 8. The lunch special came with soup, two main dishes, rice, and an egg roll. At the end of the day it’s the unique Thai flavors and the quality of the food that differentiates Aroy-D from the others and wins my 5 star rating. Can’t wait to come back!
