Tom Hardcastle and his staff are, quite simply, the best. I’ve been going to Delilah for years… they are absolutely the best in town (or anywhere else).

I visited Ojai for a friends wedding and last minute decided to get my hair done. This salon was able to fit me in with very little notice. Lindsay did an excellent job on my updo! I highly recommend this salon!
If you’re not familiar with the area make sure you call to ask where it is located because it can be a bit tricky to find.

We came in at the last minute for a haircut for our daughter. They were fast, courteous and did a great cut. 100% recommend!

Yesterday was my first visit to this salon and I was extremely pleased. Chris Monday was so pleasant and friendly. I got a fantastic haircut and she was meticulous about styling it afterward (I have very curly hair, so blowing it straight is a challenge.) The price was more than fair. Fun, relaxed atmosphere (designed to look like the inside of a Genie’s bottle), eclectic music. I will definitely go back.

Five stars, so far. First great cut since moving to Ojai. Thank you Chris Monday. I shall return.

I was visiting my mom for an extended time and really needed my roots touched up. My friend goes here and highly recommended it. I saw Kris a recent addition to the shop. She was able to see me with short notice. She did an awesome job and was very kind and thorough. If I lived here I would make it my permanent salon!

Delilah’s is the best kept secrete in Ojai. Ask for Chris Monday if you want the perfect cut and color! She’s amazing! You won’t be disappointed!

The owner Tom is a crack up! He’s a total character and makes the appointments fun! I’ve seen lots of his work and the other two female hair stylist work and they’re great! Been going there for years now.

i had scheduled a hair appointment with liz for the day of my best friends’ wedding. at 10am that saturday morning, i received a msg from lindsey telling me that liz was really sick and would not be able to do my session at 1pm. which i completely understand. but then she proceeded to say that it looks like no one else in the salon has time today and liz told her it was for a wedding, so she apologized and said that she hoped i could find somewhere else. SERIOUSLY?! 3 hours notice? when i am in town for a wedding that i am helping to orchestrate ??? — there was a reason i had made my plans in advance — as i had NO extra time to figure it out on the DAY OF the wedding! i would have expected that if no one was available at the salon that they would have called another colleague to honor their commitment, especially since they knew it was for a wedding! i am very disappointed in their lack of service support especially after having chosen them above all others based on the rave reviews they had received on Unilocal.i would not book with them again, and will be sure to share this with all my local family, friends and acquaintances.

April 11^th, I had the most amazing experience here visiting from NYC. With a bad color job (see other review on tiger stripes :)) I walked in to gauge the vibe and prices. The girl working practically read my mind, or my hair rather and it was clear she knew exactly what I was displeased with and how to fix it. I got her card and returned a few hours later. What I left with was one of the finest low light/​highlight and tone jobs I’ve ever had and at a price that would be WORTH flying out from NYC every 8 weeks for. I kid you not. I have been getting highlights for more years than I’d like to admit and I’m back in Brooklyn dreaming of this place.

I’ve been going to Liz for a long time now and I still love when it is the day of my appointment. Liz always does a great job with my hair and she’s always got great ideas for what to do to change it up a bit. I leave the salon with a great cut & color every time.

I’ve been going to Liz for a couple months now and she is amazing. Always really listens to what I want done with my hair without letting me do anything stupid. I love her styles and she provides great customer service!

Super fun team of stylists. I’ve gone to Tom Hardcastle for years, but he’s so busy being one of the top stylists period, so I experimented with Liz White. Liz shocked me with how cool, skilled, intuitive and willing to try new ideas and pull them off she is. There is also Lindsey, whom I haven’t worked with, but I can tell by how many religious customers and booked she gets, that she is also AMAZING! I’ve been going back to Delilah to see Liz for 3 plus years now. Why switch when it works so well and I can try anything new I want and pull it off? I’ve had the worst luck taking my curly hair anywhere else. Love this place, and it’s right next to an awesome coffee shop Java Joe;)

I’ve been having my hair done by Liz at this salon for a couple years, and I’ve had both hair cuts and highlights. She does an amazing job every time, I’ve never been disappointed and will always recommend her! The other two hairstylists Tom and Lindsay are always very welcoming and kind, I would be comfortable going to anyone at this salon but Liz is and always has been my favorite!!!
