Friendly, clean, timely and honors appointment times which is appreciated! I come to Ojai monthly and will come back to this salon whenever I am in the area.

I love Kristy’s nails! Gabby has been there many years and is very professional, cheerful and does a wonderful job. I always feel so relaxed and happy when I leave.

I had a great experience! I walked in with no appointment. The young woman who helped me was pleasant and gave me a great mani/​pedi. I’ll come back if I’m ever in Ojai again.

If I could give zero stars I would. Seriously, the worst nail salon experience I’ve ever had. Walked into the most uncomfortable room with unhappy people. A rushed half assed, miserable woman begrudgingly gave me a «pedicure». My friend’s pedicure was 10 minutes longer and a little better than mine but not by much. $ 25 later and I’m annoyed at the lack of care, rudeness and unhappy feet. Will never go back and will not recommend this place to anyone. Hope you’re reading this workers of Kristy’s nails. You blew it. Do you want customers or not? Figure it out.

We came to Ojai to relax. I wanted my nails done, a manicure and when I got there one employee was sweeping, the other was with a client. There were about 20 min left t closing and they refused to serve me. The guy sweeping, who was a manicurist didn’t even acknowledge me. When I asked if they could just paint my nails, which would have taken 5 min, they said no. I guess these idiots don’t need the money.

I have been coming to Kristy’s for over 8 years now, every two weeks! I always get compliments on my nails! I own a horse ranch/​trail riding company and am very hard on my hands. Mike keeps me looking good! I almost never break a nail. Mike knows exactly how to make them look great and stay strong (pink and white acrylic).
I plan on going here for years to come!

After reading the great reviews I bought a gift certificate at an auction and eagerly went in yesterday for a mani and spa pedicure. When I handed the woman my gift certificate she made a sour look… and the sourness continued. I had a less than excellent pedicure, and my manicure was streaky. Next to me gabby and her client looked like they were having a good time. But not me. I was led to the nail dryer and my manicurist disappeared into the back room never to return. Nor will I.

I tried when I first moved to Ojai to get my nails done. They were too busy & couldnt get me in, I gave up. I then months later decided I really needed them done after doing the gels myself for months, I no longer had the time. I went in to get a full set the hispanic woman was EXTREMELY RUDE. She glued the tips on crooked & when I told her she asked if i wanted someone else to do them. I said yes. NO one was available so i took off the crooked ones and she flipped and said I’ll take them off. I let her & then she proceeded to tell me she wasn’t even done and she’s been doing this 12 yrs. I tried to explain to her she is here to do a service for me and its NOT the way she likes them but the way I WANT THEM. She continued to be very rude and mouthy to me, so I got up & left. TWICE I’ve had the worst experience in here. So much for a warm welcome to town!

I drive from LA (!!) to get my nails and pedicures done at Kristy’s! Gaby & Mike are the best! I have to have acrylic nails and they do a better job than anyone I’ve tried in LA… also, kind of gross, but Gaby’s a genius when it comes to dealing with ingrown toenails. I have someone here in LA that can also do that but charges exactly TWICE as much! Love the people & the price at Kristy’s!

Lynn is the best! I am so picky about my manicures. Lynn was so thorough, kind, and meticulous. After I got my manicure I got shellac and it looks amazing, lasting two weeks! I will definitely be going back! Highly recommend!

I have been going to Kristy’s Nails for over three years. Mike, Gaby and Cindy are really wonderful people to do business with. My nails always look good and natural.
