Where your treated like family when you enter the door. I love everyone that works there especially Sammy who always shows you love.

Do not order tri tip from here. The sandwhich had mixed pieces of dry old tough tritip mixed with a single slice of recently cooked tritip. Its all immersed in a vat of overly sweet bbq sauce in an effort to hide old tritip. Yuck never again.

we took our kids here for dinner tonighr and were extremely. disappointed by not just the food but the customer service. the girl that took our order and put our food together said maybe 2 words to us. with our large family seemed like she assumed we ordered 3 tacos… we had to inform her we were ordering more. she seemed to busy to be bothered by customers. so we get home and she just put dry asada and pastor on a tortilla… no onions/cilantro/salsa…yuck. no one really ate. dont think we will ever be back. yucky food and yucky customer service. i suggest calling in an oeder for pick up at casa de lago thats great food.

Being a local I felt compelled to try the food from the«back» and I was disappointed! Customer service sucks in front and back of this place. I was trying to order food so I asked what a particular meat was(being visible) and she said Asada. Which is steak right? Well it was pork or chicken obviously and if it was steak than this place has problems. I ended up getting a bean and cheese burrito because I was afraid of the way the meat looked. Basically my little sister makes better burritos than this place and she is 11. Oh and the guy in the front where you pay was on his phone the entire time talking with his mistress or girlfriend. No respect for me being a customer! Bad service! I am not sure if it is intentional or some peoples kids just don’t know any better hence the 2 stars. Overall I should have trusted my instincts about a restaurant/liquor store. I guess if you are drunk and hungry on a beer run… maybe it would be ok, but I honestly would trust taco bell before this rat hole.

I was graced with an invite by my client to join them for lunch during their Thursday tradition of tacos at the LQ, and this is where they brought me. If you’ve been to standing room, you know how good liquor store grub can be, and this place doesn’t let you down! I tried the al pastor, and carne asada… D LISH! The al pastor was slightly more flavorful but the steak in the asada is nothing to scoff at. Best part, the tacos are barely more than a buck a piece! Order 20. buck even! Killer food, killer deal. And there’s plenty of tequila or cerveza if you want to chase it down. Enjoy!

Inside this Liquor store way in the back, they serve Mexican Style BBQ for a decent price. I’ve been here several times. When it’s fresh off the grill, that is when you want to buy it. I’ve tried their Al Pastor Tacos, and their Tri-Tip Tacos. Most of the time their food is good, but sometimes, when it’s not fresh off the grill, and it’s been sitting in their steam table, the meat is dried. The Tri-Tip I used to always loved getting until I ate some tough dried ones a couple of times, I stopped buying it. It was so tough, I couldn’t even chew on it. So, now, I just buy the Al Pastor(Pork) Tacos. You can’t beat the price though. 2 tacos for $ 3. That’s enough to fill me. I don’t suggest buying if they are not grilling that day. Note: They don’t grill on Sundays.

Don’t let the name fool ya, gringoes! Sure you can grab a 40 here but in the back, Mexican perfection. The burritos can crush a New Yorker’s ego. Huge they are and awesome. Try the soups too, you won’t be disappointed. And CHEAP!
