Red Mountain has really excellent pizza and a great variety of toppings. Always hot and fresh. Would recommend to everyone!

We were staying a night at the Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort and preferred to find some dinner outside of the resort. There are really only a small handful of eating options «in town» and they tend to close early (8pm) so we made our way to Red Mountain Café for a full sized 15″ inch pizza for about $ 20 which was more than enough for two people (led to breakfast leftovers the next morning). It was freshly baked and they were out of mushrooms so we opted for artichoke, sausage, and roasted garlic as our toppings. Quite a fine quality pizza and a great find in Ojo Caliente. They also have a few dessert options including a couple type of cookies and brownies. I made sure to stop by the next morning before we took off from the area to get a housemade chai for the road. Truly a local establishment.

This guy knows how to make pizza! His dough is made from scratch using an original Italian recipe and fresh ingredients. It was by far one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Being from Chicago, that’s not easy to say. His baked goods are also tasty. Order ahead, as he is the only one working his business and can get quite busy. I suggest the green chile and pesto pizza! We added spinach, roasted garlic, onions, mushrooms, and Italiam sausage. Just exquisite!

We were looking for affordable, good food while staying at the Ojo Caliente and found it here. Had a nice chat with the owner while waiting for our pizza to bake. Good conversation, even better pizza.

What a great find! I showed up with 11 hungry teenagers after a backpacking trip & David didn’t blink an eye. He was kind & patient. He was happy to put food in our bellies and smiles on our faces. The pizza dough was a perfect combo of crisp and chewy. The sauce was fresh and amazing! The kids claimed this was «the best pizza ever!» They claimed the smoothies, soup & salad were equally amazing — I only had the ‘za. I’ve already shared my adoration for Red Mtn with others in Santa Fe, & will certainly hit it up again when I head back to NM!

This place is awesome! I had the great pleasure of renting the apartment under the restaurant. Not only was the owner/​landlord very chill as a person, he is a wonderful chief. I can say that everything there is made fresh and daily. There are many delicious baked goods to choose from and pizza hot from the oven. During the day the apartment would fill with lovely smells from brownies baking to pizza sauce being made. The restaurant atmosphere is very relaxed with lots of outdoor seating.
I would recommend the roasted garlic and green chile pizza with pepperoni. And the man makes a great cup of joe too. All in all this is a great place for lunch or dinner. definitely stop by if you are visiting the springs or just passing by! :)
