The cook was eating a burrito while cooking our food with her bare hands. After two bites of hash browns that tasted like they were fried in old grease I got instantly sick and we had to leave.

My rating is based solely on the cleanliness of this restaurant on my only visit and not the food served there. I hope you find it helpful: Unfortunately this restaurant has always been Dirty. We had first gone there shortly after they relocated from their original location near the Penn Square Mall. We were seated at a dirty table, not just dirty but grimy. This was kinda surprising since they had just recently opened for business in this location. The surface of the menus they handed us were covered in who knows what kind of food debris. The waitress arrived with silver wear which was Dirty as well. We ordered coffee and looked over the menu. When the coffee arrived at the table and one of the cups had lipstick stain on the rim we were done. We left never to return. I have no idea of the flavor quality of the food, I couldn’t get past the overwhelming lack of cleanliness, filth in the dining room, and could only imagine how dirty the kitchen could be.

Good food, fast service, good hours, decent price. Great place to take a family Pancakes are light and fluffy. Waffles are nice and crisp. The bacon was bacon.

This is the go to late night grub. It can get very crowded on weekend nights from bar and club goers, but food comes out pretty fast. The food is better than other breakfast food places.

I hadn’t eaten here in years, but decided to come here for something new. If you’re looking for a basic eggs and bacon breakfast, you’ll find that and a lot more here.

It took forever for our server to come up to our table, took forever to get our food, then the food came out and looked and tasted terrible. Wasted an hour of my life and couldn’t even eat the food. We ended up just getting doughnuts instead.

Haven’t been here in years. Used to love it. Service is terrible. From the hostess to the waitress. Just bad. There’s so many other places in town nowadays. Don’t waste your time. Bev’s is past its prime.

Terrible service! There was hardly anyone in when we arrived. One waitress held up her finger to wait a mint it as she was eating, then she came over to seat us. It took forever to order our food and after we got it, it was like we didn’t exist in our booth. I orders the French toast and it ass awful! It tastes sour and had goop looking stuff on the crust of the bread. We had to ask a different waiter to please take it back and just make pancakes since our waitress was in la la land. The blueberry pancakes didn’t even have blueberries in them! They used food dye to make it look like blueberries, very strange. The coffee was the best part about eating here. Terrible service and probably need to check the dates on the food they are serving. Stick with other breakfast places, no reason to waste your time checking this place out.

Beverley’s may have been good back in the day(50 or 60 years ago) but no more. The food was almost cold. And the prices are outrageous for what you get. I had biscuits and gravy. Pretty simple yet the worst I’ve ever had. The fried peaches my friend had were barely warm. Fried? Really? How does that happen? The service was was so so but I was only given one refill on my coffee(and no refill on my water) so at $ 1.99 that’s 99¢ a cup. This ain’t Starbucks folks! Don’t bother with this place.

Was really looking forward to this place. BUT not impressed. Slow to almost no service. Greasy omelette. Greasy veggies and meat used to garnish the omelette. Had to flag down waitstaff for refills on water and tea. Doubt I’ll go back. Too many other places to have b-fast.

This the worst place I’ve ever eaten! I sat there 45 minutes waiting on a bowl of chicken soup and a side salad. The silverware was extremely dirty and the floor is so slippery you have to brace yourself to walk. By the time I received my order there was a guy who came in at the same time who was paying for his food. The chicken noodle soup was terrible! How can you mess up soup? So I ordered a baked potato and it was cold and burned. This place is a disgrace! I have no idea how they have remained in business.

Pretty disappointed after all the good stuff I’ve heard. They left a toothpick in my chopped steak, completely hidden from view. Didn’t notice until it was in my mouth. I assume(hope) it was used for some reason other than picking teeth. Nothing else really matters; that’s an epic fail.

Okay, let’s be honest… the food is not really anything to write home about at all. In fact, I would give the food 3 stars or less. It’s just a regular diner. And I have actually been to better diners. But it is open 24 hours and because of late work hours I love being able to go here after work with my coworkers! We have such a great time hanging out and talking. The servers know us and do a great job. One of my friends puts more cream in her mug than coffee so the servers grab extra creamers for her when they see her at the door. The servers just let us chill. I don’t know, the food isn’t great but I love the service. I never go for the food. I go to hang out with friends and to get good service.

While not really«A-Ok,» I don’t feel they deserve 2 stars. You know, they are what they are, a greasy spoon diner. You know what they have, greasy spoon stuff… breakfast all day, some burgers, sandwiches, fried chicken, etc. I got breakfast thing about 1 pm and think most of it had been cooked an hour before as everything was pretty cold, despite coming to me as soon as it was in the window. I will give the benefit of the doubt that it isn’t always this bad, but I will not hesitate to lower the score if I go back and its just as bad. I just feel like I may have caught them after a big rush or something. The waitresses were very sweet and attentive!

Pretty good. Dive. Eggs under cooked, bacon burned, hair on my food. The sausage was way yummy. But, yeah. 100% not coming back. It was a really cheap bill at least.

Beverly’s has been around forever and is the perfect 24 hour diner in OKC. Full menu all the time and friendly staff. The food is diner food; breakfast, burgers and fried chicken. It may not be a gourmet meal but it’s perfect for when everything else is closed and you don’t want fast food. Blueberry pancakes are so good. I’ve never been when it’s daylight, but Beverly’s is always a good time.

Fun fact: Beverly was a GUY not a girl. My beef with Oklahoma? There aren’t enough places that open past 8:00pm for a late night dinner. Well, minus a buffet and fast food establishment. Diner food seemed appropriate that evening for some strange reason. That’s right folks… I visited Beverly’s completely SOBER and famished. Ordered the special Chicken In the Rough, of course. The dining room was empty so we didn’t have to wait. Verdict? It’s okay. The chicken skin was fried very well, had yummy flavor and was EXTREMELY hot– temperature wise. I burned my tongue! My side items were pretty forgetable. Mac & Cheese and side salad. They ran out of ranch dressing so that was a big bummer. I tried some of my partner’s mashed potatoes and thought they were lacking salt. Our waitress accidentally gave my man white gravy instead of brown gravy. He was sort of kind of(not quite at stroke out mode ala Patrick) upset ’bout that. Maybe we wouldn’t have been so picky if we were sauced? On the flip side, our waitress was super nice and very attentive :)

Had a disappointing breakfast that could have been so much more at a classic OKC joint. We ate a sober breakfast at Beverly’s on a Monday morning, which, after reading a number of other reviews, puts us in the minority of diners who eat at Beverly’s. We were seated in a large and comfy booth and approached very quickly by our server. I went with the chicken fried steak breakfast with biscuits and gravy and home fries. The steak is large and has a nice crispy breading. However, it wasn’t seasoned, maybe at all. If you add some salt and pepper to this meat before breading it, and season the breading as well, you’d have a great chicken fry. But, without seasoning, it was disappointing. The home fries were standard, they were seasoned better than the steak, but still lacking. The eggs(which I got scrambled with cheddar cheese) were average, not great but certainly not the worst I’ve had. The biscuits were very disappointing. They were slightly colder than room temperature somehow, and were a little tough. I don’t think they were made fresh that morning. Even with the gravy poured on, they remained too hard. The gravy was a great consistency, but it had, like the rest of the meal, a noticeable lack of seasoning. It needed a lot of pepper, which I added, but I shouldn’t have to when I’m served pepper cream gravy in Oklahoma. I’d return to Beverly’s, but I’ll be prepared with the salt and pepper shakers…
