This is totally worth a stop, especially if you enjoy cooking and entertaining. We got tons of ideas for pizza parties, Mexican fiestas and more. Many of the items you would normally get at a Williams-Sonoma, similar in quality, just less fancy(and probably more durable). The young man working was very helpful, especially in helping us find a thermometer that would suit our needs without being unnecessarily expensive. We found other items we were looking for as well, including some ramekins I’ve wanted to cook a special dessert. It is helpful to note(since I didn’t see it posted anywhere that I can remember) there is often a case discount. I only needed 10, but it was basically the same price to buy 12, and I’m sure I’ll use them at some point. Would add a fifth star for some really excellent to-go container selection. I need this for sending stuff home with people, for leftover storage, and I would prefer to use the stuff they use at restaurants since I assume it is less expensive than buying the brand-name ones in five packs at Crest. Again, worth a stop. Before you go, take a moment to think about what you *really* need(like I totally failed to get a few gadgets that I realized later I totally wanted) because it is easy to get really distracted really fast. On that note, I’ll be sure and let you know how our impulse buy of a french-fry slicer works out for us. :)

I love this place. I love to cook when I am at home and I am a sucker for kitchen gadgetry! I enjoy classic white restaurant place settings which I can get anything from demitasse cups to giant platters. They sell everything from commercial stoves to garlic presses and they are much better in quality and pricing than your box store kitchen needs. On any given trip I may walk out with a 6 inch cake pan, french rolling pin, pizza peel and a single ramekin. There are so many things! I only wish I had the budget and the room for everything I could utilize!

I adore City Restaurant Supply. It is the perfect kitchenware place. I buy wine glasses all the time from there for gifts and unique kitchen items for me. It is a professional’s store so not only can you find serving ware but you can pick up a commercial appliance. If you ever watch a show that shows a restaurant and you think ‘I want that tool’, go to CRS and they will have it at prices you can afford.
