Community Thrift Store

You really can find some great stuff here at reasonable prices. A good portion of my wardrobe has come from here. Can be great for vintage items too. Employees have been really nice in my experience. This thrift store will always be my main squeeze.

Definitely one of the better thrift stores. Yes, most of it is clothing that remind you of the horrible fashion choices you made in the 80s, and now think it would be an excellent addition to a bonfire. Some of it is clothing that you can’t understand who on earth would actually buy it (e.g. a family reunion shirt with everyone’s names on it… who would that matter to except that family?). Some might have small holes, or stains, etc. This IS a thrift store, after all, not Neiman Marcus. However, if you are willing to spend some time and look through things, you can find some real treasures. Amongst my finds: 7 For All Mankind jeans, a Burberry shirt, vintage Yves Saint Laurent heels, and a Chanel dress! And yes, they are all authentic. I am not sure who is donating to this thrift store, but thank you! Take a little more time, and you’ll sometimes come across an article of clothing with a tag that says «free» on it. It means exactly what it says: it’s free.
Pricing can be inconsistent. No name brand camis here and there going for $ 2 or $ 3 but a Calvin Klein cardigan might go for 99 cents (which is exactly what I saw today). There are times you realize that whomever is pricing the items may not know their value. My Chanel dress (which is in pristine condition) was only $ 20…but so was an Old Navy jacket near it. This Chanel dress retailed for $ 3000 when it came out only a year ago. Old Navy? Not so much. However, pricing inconsistencies mean little to me when I can find my treasures for such little money.
There is also a fitting room, which is great. But depending on how busy it is, you could be waiting for a while to use it since there is only one. The staff is friendly, and the store as a whole is very well organized, which I love. Makes it so much nicer and easier to shop.

I rank this thrift store as one of the better ones. I’ve found some cool things I couldn’t live without. Sometimes you find odd things like 8 foot massagers, all the same brand and level of use. what giant spider donated these? On the upside the employees are very chill and are usually doing their own thing & scoot by if you look perplexed. We found our patio tables here! They were cute oblong drink height with slate tops and powder coated black frames, 40 for both wasn’t bad. We enjoy perusing their wares every now and again. They carry decent kids clothes for special occasions or when we need a beret (?! True story) for a school play. Their electronic selection is bare bones at best but hey you werent coming for the HD flat screens right big spender?
Anyhow as with any thrift center there is always a time when they can be picked over when folks don’t donate as much or around holidays when everyone scrambles to be more festive.

I actually like this place. They have a huge selection of decent clothes, games, books, furniture and random other stuff. The prices are good and there are actual staff walking around to help people out, like a real store. It is also very well organized which is rare at a thrift store.

There was absolutely nothing in here that I would want to buy. It seems like the clothes are really old and prices weren’t exactly cheap… not cheap enough to match the quality you were getting anyways. Most of the furniture were old and broken; so were the toys, accessories, and hats. Employees looked bored and didn’t say a word to any customers. After a five minute walk through, I was done.

This is definitely not one of my favorite thrift stores on 23^rd. They had a decent selection but the prices are very inconsistent and often times, especially in the men’s clothes the suits and jeans are picked over, have holes in them or are covered in paint/​soiled. Not the best quality is what I’m sayin’. The furniture department is the same way, dirty and picked over. They do have some decent books and magazines and a few videos but that’s about it. Now, I can’t review the kids or women’s sections, which probably most people come for because I don’t shop in the those sections, but I will say that there is more selection in those areas and at least the clothes are never on the floor.
I usually just stop in here during a thrift store haul in OKC, and it’s more of a miss than a hit on most occasions. The parking is also very tight if you park in front of the store. They have a separate little lot to the side of the store where you may find more «easy» parking especially if you aren’t one for getting door dings.
