After moving back to Oklahoma, I started researching printers and engravers in my area. I got to know Chuck at Fine Arts as I started coming to him for letterpress needs. Letterpress is not for the impatient — one must wait a few weeks to get plates and ink ordered. But patience goes a long way when you see your beautiful piece of letterpressed paper. One must also be somewhat knowledgable in Pantone colors and paper types, though Chuck always helped when I didn’t understand the difference between uncoated and coated. Everyone who works there is friendly and works really hard — don’t be afraid to ask for a tour. I got a tour of the facility, their machines, their foils and papers, and got to view recent works of theirs(like major NFL and NHL foil tickets… amazing). Even though they do major printing(like thousands and thousands of something) on a daily basis, they also like taking on the smaller jobs of 100 wedding invites.
