Coffee ok. Food good. Don’t go on Sunday morning. They have a full fledged Church service going on there with a huge crowd while they do business as a coffee house.
This may be my favorite coffee and tea shop in Oklahoma. My top three favorite things about it(besides the loose leaf teas) would be it’s quirky customers, it’s quirky location, and the reason behind the quirkiness – this coffee shop is run by individuals who work toward giving back to their community! They not only serve up good drinks, but they provide support to individuals in need in their area by doing things such as taking donations and handing them out where they are needed by community members. This coffee shop is not for someone expecting a glamorous coffee shop and a ritzy atmosphere. It has character and it has an amazing mission, so go out and show Joe’s Additction some love!

Fun place, odd location but I get it, they want to bring some GOOD to a pretty rough area. Joe’s Addiction is nestled between all the strip clubs on SE59th street. It’s so odd to walk into the coffee shop and see the brightly paint, the great pictures and great vibe in the middle of trailer parks and strip clubs. The coffee is good, not great. The chai latte is what I think shines though. They make it, or I guess assemble the components and it is for sale by the pound and half a pound. Board and card games are on shelves and you’re encouraged to play. We played a monster game of SkipBo and stayed there late. Speaking of late, they are open till 10:00 on weekdays and even later on weekends. Don’t freak out when some odd people come in or strippers come in dressed out. The place attracts all kinds and the staff is amazingly friendly to the crew that comes in. A homeless man walked in while we where there and was given free bread and bagels to take. All in all, a great place and I get the GOOD they are doing.
