Very groovy sandwich, salads and pastry establishment near downtown OKC. I had the rueben sandwich with homemade potato salad. Both were delicious. Will be back to try others.

Best hospital food ever. Cupcakes were perfect, great tomato soup, big fan of the excellent Cobb salad. Overall, a+.

I’ve driven by Kamp’s many times and always told myself that I needed to go there sometime. Yesterday I finally did and it was well worth it! I went for a late afternoon lunch on a Saturday. There weren’t very many people there so I was able to truly appreciate every detail of the café without being distracted by too many conversations going on around me. I ordered the Mamma Mia Club sandwich with potato salad as my side. Both were absolutely delicious. The potato salad reminded me of my family’s recipe and home. The sourdough baguette was a great bread for my sandwich because you got the best of both types of bread. The density of a baguette as well as the taste of a good sourdough. The staff were very attentive and friendly. When I placed my order the manager/owner commented that it was a good choice or something like that and it made me smile because it’s always nice to hear something like that when you’re ordering at a new place. Positive vibes make for a happy place. Before I left I got a thunder latte with almond milk and it was delicious. Their coffee is clearly of high quality. I can’t wait to come back again soon!

I ate there a few times for breakfast. I wasn’t impressed I got the breakfast burrito and the veggies were raw. You can get better food from Panera bread.

As it is a dreary, cold November day, I stopped at Kamp’s for some hot soup and a sandwich for lunch. They had a choice between tomato basil or broccoli cheddar for soup today, so I chose a cup of tomato basil and half a BLT. The wait was about 20 minutes for my sandwich and soup which I felt was a bit slow, even for a lunchtime rush. The tomato basil soup was absolutely excellent. The perfect flavor and temperature for a nasty cold day. The BLT was also good, it had some extra ingredients I didn’t anticpate, including avacado-yum!

It was a throw back to the past. This place had the charm of the 1910 era. The pastry display was so tempting. I wanted to taste one of each. the muffins looked incredible. I did splurge on the choc chip cookie. I order the curry chicken salad, and it was spectacular. Fresh, flavorful, nice portion. with a pickle to boot. Very clean, very friendly.

Fresh, hand made awesomeness. Evon was super polite at 6:30 am. Got the doctor’s orders that came with salsa then I asked for gravy. Huge portion. Gorgeous presentation. Very happy

Solid choice when in this area of town for lunch. My chicken sandwhich was good(kinda pricey), the pasta salad side was very good and the flavored ice tea was my jam. I seriously love a good UN-SWEET flavored ice tea. My biggest complaint was the parking. I finally found a little lot across the rail road tracks by an art studio and walked over.

Between the hag at the counter who worked at two speeds — slow and stop — and the lack of preparation for a breakfast rush including low ataff, this place is a «never again.» I repeated my simple bagel order twice and she handed me a muffin. I said I ordered a bagel and she tried to argue — quite rudely. I said, «no, I said bagel not muffin,» which was corroborated by the woman behind me. I then asked for cream cheese. Of course she had none readily available. And the bagels weren’t even sliced. I finally settled for a hideously flavored cream cheese and an unsliced, untoasted bagel just to get breakfast before my next birthday. I was even charged fifty cents for water on top of the indignation. Avoid at all costs.

One of my favorite places for lunch. The train wreck sandwich is awesome, as well as their cookies and cupcakes. I’ve still yet to try something I haven’t liked. If you haven’t tried this place I definitely recommend it!!!

This place was pretty solid. Only major gripe is that there’s no sign telling you that no lunch is served during breakfast time. Still, when I settled for the breakfast menu, what I got was pretty good. It was some sort of breakfast sandwich with ham, cheese, egg, avocado, ciabatta, lettuce, tomato, all that stuff. The cheese was really flavorful while everything else just kinda melted together. Wait wasn’t too long, either. Sandwich was reasonably priced at $ 5.99.

The lady that greeted me and took my order is either the manager or owner because she was a wealth of information. She recommended items on the menu after I expressed disappointment that they no longer have the Okie sandwich. I must expand my horizons once again and find a new favorite sandwich. I decided rather than get what appeared to be a killer BLT to get out of my comfort zone and get a Mama Mia Club. It was the five pepper relish with Italian dressing on an Italian baguette that got me. I was assured that everything was made fresh daily. That being said they make a lot of meat loaf on Tuesdays so on Wednesday lunch they offer meat loaf sandwiches. Kamps is big and spacious. Lots of room to socialize, use the free WiFi, drink coffee, order from the full bar. Bottom line this is an awesome place. BTW, they have great breakfasts as well.

Oh my goodness, I am so happy I found this place! It is HUGE with a bar area, dining area, a whole display of baked goods and a coffee bar. It has everything you could need! I went one day when I had a phone meeting, I ordered the salmon salad and iced chai tea latte. Both were delicious, and the spot seemed to be great for business meetings, studying, or just enjoying lunch with a friend. It is very open with big windows and a vintage feel – I can’t wait to go back!

I have actually never stepped foot inside this place, but one of our consultants caters in breakfast from them every week, and I just had to tell you guys about their breakfast burritos. Perfectly cooked eggs + crisp bacon + breakfast potatoes + melty gooey cheesy heaven all wrapped up in a perfect tortilla. Yes, I have dreams about these burritos. They are warm and delicious and the perfect start to any day. Someday I’ll have to actually make it down to this place and sample the rest of the menu, but for now, I’ll be very happy with my breakfast burritos.

I don’t ever eat«real food» here, but I still love coming here to do reading or work with a cup of coffee and a bagel. I drive past Elemental and Coffee Slingers to get here. Why? Because I don’t feel as comfortable and welcome there the way I do at Kamp’s. This place still has great coffee and tons of open space while feeling comfy. There’s this super nice guy, Evon, that will make your day by talking to you like he’s known you for years, and everyone else is so nice. Vibes here are so great that I really hope you check it out, too. PS… They are Keep It Local, yeah yeah yeah!

Okay why am I just now finding out about this place out? I’ve driven past Kamp’s before but never really knew what it was. Since starting my internship with Unilocal I’ve really caught wind of this place. Coffee meeting, lunch meeting, after work drinks? Kamp’s is your place. Last week I was meeting some friends for lunch in the city. One of our friends just started working on Automobile Alley and before I could even suggest Kamp’s(since I’ve been dying to go” he said«we should go to Kamp’s!» Perfect, Kamp’s it was. The space is pretty big and was bustling at lunch! Really a mainstay for those working downtown on their lunch break. I was instantly in visual heaven when the display case full of massive cupcakes, bars, and macaroons greeted me. A menu full of salads, sandwiches and soups distracted me while I tried to diverge from the sweets. I went with the Italian salad and was very happy, ate every last bit of this decent size salad. Topped with marinated artichoke hearts, tomatoes, red onions, black olives, ham, salami, pastrami and provolone cheese and delicious dressing(i got on the side). I’m excited to go back and try the midtown wrap!

Kamp’s is an Oklahoma staple. Since I work nearby, I go here a lot for lunch. I really like their simple garden salad and it’s surprisingly big! The sandwiches are also good, including the chicken salad one. There is a nice selection of baked goods for an after-lunch treat. Tips: order ahead of time and pick-up at their drive-thru. It’s fast. Also, avoid coming here at noon at all costs. The line gets really busy. Go at 11:45 or 12:15 instead.

I think I remember this place. .. didn’t it used to be a Java Dave’s? Kamp’s is spacious.. . really really spacious. It is an amazing building actually, with a huge half being a restaurant/café and the second half being(I think — I did not go in) a bar that looked pretty big as well from the outside. Lots of natural lighting, beautiful dark cherry wood tables and a loooong high bar island with dozens of chairs. Yay for standing up and studying/eating or for, you know, people with friends. They had a special of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans, and I should have tried that, but I got the soup and salad. It was not that it wasn’t tasty.. . it was.. .. I am just always a little suspicious of a restaurant that uses iceberg lettuce as salad. So I am not sure what I think about the food quality-wise. And they only had already-brewed iced tea in a self-serve canister(I think this must be the day of already-brewed ice teas in self-serve canisters). It is a really beautiful place though, and parking is so present and easy.

I felt it was time for an update, since it’s been a couple of years. This time, I want to focus on why I absolutely love Kamp’s after work. They have a full bar, with a few good beers on tap. They also have a good selection of wine, and of course you can get food as well. My happy hour meetings are often working meetings, so after I rule out smoky bars, dive bars, expensive bars and bars where it can be hard to park, Kamp’s stands out as a great place for a relaxing after work drink with friends or colleagues. It’s nice to have a great place to suggest that really lends it self to a meeting, going over details of an event, or(as I’ve done too many times to count) having a planning meeting with a handful of volunteers or a committee. Bonus points: the young lady working here the other day was so darling. Her name was Monica, and she took great care of us, while providing the perfect amount of friendly chit chat. She was personable, competent and pleasant.

I have been here many times for coffee and it is honestly probably my favorite in OKC. I finally tried it for lunch recently and it will become a regular spot for me. I had the fresh catch salad with salmon, and a cookie with blue and orange sprinkles that I just couldn’t resist on a Thunder game day. I was impressed with both! The honey walnut crust on the salmon was delicious; I think I could have eaten it by the spoonful. The cookie was good, nothing to write home about, but their muffins and cupcakes in the case looked awesome. I will have to try another treat next time I’m there. The venue is also very open and perfect for a big group meeting. Lots of space and big tables, along with its own parking lot, which is rare for downtown OKC. All in all, a great place for a coffee or lunch date or meeting. Highly recommended!
