I’ve never really understood the fascination with phở. It just always seems kinda plain and boring to me. That being said, I thought my meal here was good enough to return. It is a lot nicer inside than it looks like it would be from the outside. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of tables and the quick service at lunch. I also enjoyed the fresh spring rolls. Phở Lien Hoa seems to be one of the most highly regarded phở places in the city as it was recommended by one of my Vietnamese friends. I just got the most commonly ordered soup, but perhaps will branch out a little more next time.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and I finally have. Did not know what to expect but it was close to this. I asked for a recommendation from the waitress. Between the chicken and pork, her fav was the pork. So guess what? Yea, I tried it. The pork had a nice flavor(B6). She was right. The food was good and plenty of it also. There is a reason with so many reviews they still taste very high. No exception here. There were 3 of us and no complaint from any of us. I recommend.

Great local place to grab phở. I was in town for a wedding and had a craving. They have GIANT portions and you can pick your meat a la carte or in the usual bundles. Their broth was fresh, not oily, and craving-satisfying.

My husband and I came back for another round of phở at this establishment. Despite having less than amazing service the first time around, we came back to satisfy our craving and let’s be honest, they really know how to serve up a tasty bowl of soup. We were so happy with the service and everything was just perfect this time around. Our server was so kind and so patient, did not try rushing us or appear annoyed when we had questions. The food came out super fast and was just excellent– great flavors yet so simple. I ordered a small bowl of phở and could barely finish it– I was full after consuming maybe a fourth of the dish. I will say that the restaurant only takes cash, but there is an atm on site. Personally, I don’t really mind this but others be warned if you do not carry cash on you. We will be back!

So I dropped in with the FAM and I got the P7. Mom got the P6 and bro snagged the P10. Spring rolls and broth were flavored perfectly. Glad we dropped in. This is a place to remember.

They don’t accept cards here and the owner profits off an atm in the lobby put there for unsuspecting visitors to use. The only problem is that it charges you almost 3 dollars extra to use Its a principle thing I.left my daughter there to wait and made a quick trip to 711 to get cash

Great phở in okc. It’s an «in and out» kind of a place as the staff is not overly friendly and they try to push you out as soon as you are finished eating. The phở itself is solid. Just don’t go for the atmosphere or service or you will be disappointed.

I’ve tried phở at so many places and none ever compare to what Phở Lien Hoa offers so look no further for the best phở in OKC. I usually get the phở dac biet, but I’ve had their hu tieu and banh canh, and those are great as well. Still, the phở is the reason I’m always coming back. I also love their mango smoothie — it’s different and doesn’t compare to any other mango smoothies I’ve had. The restaurant is large and very accommodating to different sizes of parties. During lunch time on a Saturday it gets pretty hectic so I will try to avoid that rush by going a little later. No matter how busy they are, the food still comes out fairly quickly, too! The service is wonderful; I have never had a problem with the owner and servers. My only complaint is that they only take cash, but that doesn’t bother me too much, especially for a great place like this.

Absolutely wonderful. The broth is rich and full, the portions are generous, the price is right, and the service was fast. I had the steak, fatty flank, and meatball Phở, one of the best I’ve ever had stateside and in Vietnam.

Food is absolutely disappointing considering the rated reviews on Unilocal. The egg rolls we ordered came surprisingly fast after we ordered and it was warm. The spicy phở had water for flavor. Disgusting to look at and couldn’t eat. Spring rolls wasn’t anything special. Short ribs just as bad. This is my 2nd time here and both times have been disappointed. Don’t waste your time and head elsewhere. Anywhere. Just not here! Unilocal reviews is a lie!!! Lies!!!

Phở Lien Hoa seems to be the not-so-undisputed top dog of OKC’s Vietnamese Noodle Soup Houses. I still remember my first visit here on a Sunday, full of Vietnamese families pouring in from the nearby churches, which made for a lovely bustle in which to have my first helping of OKC Phở. Flavor was passable, and the meats in their combination bowl were sufficiently tender. But Phở is a relatively easy dish to get in the ballpark of right(speaking as one who, having spent his adolescence in San Jose, CA, has had his fair share of solid Phở). The real test came when I sampled their Bun Bo Hue(BBH), a dish which marks a considerable advance in complexity from Phở. Their BBH was perfectly spicy(I order it mild), but it fell just a smidge short with taste, not possessing the full range of earthy oxtail-infused flavor that I expect to fill my palette when sipping BBH broth. I’ve given it multiple tries, and have found the broth does vary between each attempt, at times being somewhat bland(something that may be a risk with clear and mannered Phở, but which should never be a danger with BBH). Still, Phở Lien Hoa is a local institution and one that for the most part attends to traditional Vietnamese cuisine with respect, as far as I am able to tell. For cold unadventurous nights, I recommend choosing any of their Pork Broth bowls. This most basic of Asian Noodle Soups(chicken stock seeped in pork, a variation of which can be found in every East/SE Asian Country) is sure to get you through a chilly night. Be advised, place takes cash only. Side note: for better preparations of Bun Bo Hue, try Phở Cuong or Lee’s Sandwiches(this last establishment, I find varies wildly between orders, but on the right day makes the best BBH in the city).

I dropped by around 5:30PM on a Saturday. The Phở(p11) was excellent: the broth was not greasy and I could not taste any msg; the noodles were not overcooked; the basil and sprouts were crisp and fresh. No complaints at all about the phở, some of the best I’ve had. The marinated/grilled pork however was a major disappointment. I would give it one star. The biggest problem was that it was cold. I’m guessing they cooked up a batch for the lunch crowd and served the leftovers to the early dinner guests??? The meat as I said was cold and dry and tough. At least they could have microwaved it before serving! For desert the coconut jello was just soso… a little bland and rubbery. The tarot smoothie was good, but I don’t know why they added whipped cream on top, it already has a rich, creamy flavor. So, 1 star for the pork and 5 stars for the phở = 3 stars.

Before departing OKC, we voted for some good old phở. More like, I voted for it and dragged my parents along. The place was spacious and well-lit, and had the usual décor of a good Vietnamese restaurant. Simple, and no fuss. We were seated right away and I got the bun and my parents got the combo phos. Fresh, yummy Vietnamese food with a decent selection and solid service. One downside it’s that they are cash only, so be prepared.

Hand down the best phở in town. The waitress is the sweetest thing. Their drinks are also amazing. The only thing hat would make me think about doing 4 stars is the fact that they only take cash.

Hands down my favorite Phở restaurant growing up and it is the only restaurant I must have every time I go home. Regardless of whether it’s summer or winter, I’m always happy to eat here. They are very quick in bringing out the orders, even when it’s busy in the restaurant. The prices are on the cheaper end($ 8-$ 10) and the quality of the food is fantastic. I have yet to try anything here that wasn’t wonderful. My usual meal: spring rolls, chicken noodle soup, and finish off with a slice of tapioca cake. Tip: Last I remember they only accepted cash. They now have an ATM, but it’s just easier to bring cash to pay.

I came here with others during a conference and had no idea what to get, but decided on the Korean ribs and I was very glad that I did, they were fantastic and so was everything else on the plate. I found out today that I’ll be going back to OKC in June 2016 and will try to back here again. They have a large menu with pictures so it’s easy to figure out what you want. I’ve eaten Vietnamese food before, but the Korean ribs just looked better to me than anything else did. Service was good and place was very large, so seating was easy and we didn’t need a reservation.

Please, try the soup before you start dumping a bunch of stuff in to it. Yes, there are options for altering it but try this first. Taste it, then, taste it again. Does it need anything? Do you know what went in to it to begin with? No? THENPUTDOWNTHEHOISIN. Do you know what the ingredients are in sriracha? Why would that taste better than those jalapeño slices? Do you know what the ingredients are in jalapenos? Try staying with just the plate of optional additions and see how you like it. Cash only. Most consistent Phở I’ve found in OKC. Awesome place for kids. But don’t take my word for it, try it for yourself.

Yes yes yes. Love the food here. This is probably the best place I have been to in OKC. It is always packed and may take a little bit of time to get seated but definitely worth the is m I got the Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio. Grilled pork and fried egg roll served with thin vermicelli noodles and vegetables served with fish sauce. My boyfriend got Hu Tiu Thap Cam — combo of shrimp, mussel, fish ball, squid, crab &BBQ pork noodle soup wit a crispy shrimp toast. This was my first time here and will definitely not be my last.

My go-to phở restaurant. It’s usually pretty darn packed on the weekends but usually no wait unless you have a big party. They aren’t stingy with their food at all. Everything is at a good portion. What I really enjoy about this place is that their veggies are fresh. Even if you ask for more, they don’t just give you a little like some places do. They give a good amount when asked. The service is good too but they can get pretty busy sometimes so don’t expect them to constantly check up on you. You’ll have to give them a wave or something. What I really don’t like about this place is their floor… my goodness it is so slippery. Beware if you’re wearing heels, girls. I also like their Mi Kho(dry egg noodles). Out of all the places I’ve had it at, this is the best. Not best compared to my brother’s tho. Give it a try nonetheless!
