Great place in brick town on the canal for a glass of wine. You can taste 3 for free, and they are good. If you buy a glass they are $ 5 or $ 6 each and you get a healthy serving. Try this place out, it’s worth it

Really fun place for a date night. I used a Groupon that was $ 15 for a tasting and souvenir glasses for two, and it was well worth it. We got to taste everything on the menu, and had a half cheese plate to accompany our wine. I enjoyed the first whites and reds, but most of the sweets were way to sweet for me, and unfortunately, that was the majority of the menu. Nothing was bad, just not something I’d want a full glass of. However, I did enjoy the ones that weren’t sweet. My favorites were probably the Skirt Alert Sauvignon Blanc(pretty tart, which I like in sauvignon blanc) and the Bricktown Pinot Noir. If I came back, I’d definitely stick with the non-sweet options. All in all, this is a cool, unique place that you really can’t get anywhere else in OKC. Great for a girls’ night, date night or just a night out with friends.

This was a neat place. The staff was friendly and informative. My wife and I went on a saturday night and the place was full. We sampled all 15 wines they had. Im more of a rum guy but liked mose of the wines they had. My wife is a wineo and she loved most of them. The bricktown area just adds to the experience.

Great, casual wine tasting. They have sweeter wines, which is good for someone like me who doesn’t have a palate for dry wine. The workers aren’t pushy and don’t make you feel obligated to buy wine after the tasting, but you’ll sure want to after you’ve had some yummy samples! Seating is somewhat limited but I’ve found a spot for a group of four/three both times I went.

$ 7 for 7 tastings! Definitely a little tipsy by the end of this. They give you a good amount each time. You can also do 3 free tastings and get a glass of your favorite. Cute area. They having wine and painting classes and you can watch people paint. There was also an outside patio to sit on. Everyone was so nice and helpful with explaining the wines. Really good deal for tasting!

Found a groupon and got an excellent price for 2 people. Went with my husband and mother in law who was visiting from out of state. The wine tasting includes 12 wines. I had my husband and mom in law use the groupon for the tasting. I decided to just buy a full glass of wine. I wasn’t sure what kind I wanted and the gentleman(an owner I think) was helpful with recommendations. You get to taste 3 for free and he gave me a 4th one that wasn’t on the menu to try as well before I made my decision. Everyone had a great time and since my husband only really likes the sweet wines, the guy helping us let us all try another one that wasn’t on the tasting menu. Well we ended up buying a bottle of that one! Love the location and that you can just walk in for a casual wine tasting. You could also make it a fun date night or girls night. they also have a couple of private rooms for parties along with a fun gift shop with wine themed items. Would definitely recommend! Great for entertaining out of town guests! Look for the groupon!

Had such a good experience! Such a good price for everything and got to taste some of the yummiest wines! Did a flight of the whole list and a souvenir glass for $ 15 and literally worth every cent! Definitely need to check out.

Went in by myself. Got treated like a wondering alcoholic looking for a free drink. Ask for the 7 for 7 $ tasting. Got three reds served to me, in same glass, not a lick of any explanation of what I was getting. Asked for a glass of water 3 times, never got one. Pass this one up, piss poor service.

We stumbled on this place while walking around Bricktown. It has a really laid back feel and the servers let you enjoy your tastings without too much bother. They are also quite knowledgeable and gave good suggestions for us novices. The wines were delicious and fairly priced! A fun experience for a girl’s night or break from shopping.

Good wines. 5 free tastings. Went in yesterday and they had sold out of a wine we wanted a case of. They went back and fired up their machine and 45 mins later… voila! I was on my way. While waiting, the staff was friendly and very accomodating in keeping me entertained.

Put a Cork In It was ok for a winery in OK. I do believe that I will give it another try eventually, but not anytime soon. I was not very smart and went for a tasting the day before a groupon expired, and it was absolute craziness! I’m not giving them 3 stars for that though, it was mainly due to the wine. It’s a great little venue, probably fun to bring some friends to that visit, as long as they are not wine snobs like myself! The one wine that I did not mind was the Pinot Gris, which was very nice, crisp, and refreshing. I’m definitely more of a red guy, but on a hot afternoon, I won’t turn away a nice glass of white wine… as long as it’s not as sweet as grape juice! That is why I didn’t even attempt their sweet wines list, it’s just not for me! I do think that if someone is just getting into wine, or they do enjoy sweeter wines, for an Oklahoma winery this is not too bad. You can taste 5 wines for free or you can purchase a glass for $ 10.00 and taste as much as you want. It’s a great local place right off of the canal, so it can be a really fun experience!

Yes, I will classify myself as a wine snob. Living 3 yrs in Europe will do that to you. So, I have to say that the wine wasn’t that great. Although, the Merlot was acceptable. But the atmosphere is fantastic We met so many wonderful and friendly people here. Even if you are a wine snob, it is worth stopping in and get your 5 free tastings and enjoy the company. I don’t care for sweet wine, but I hear that it is good from other people.

Yay for an awesome, adorable little winery in Bricktown with a friendly owner and free tastings! I recently attended a MeetUp Group here(giving Oklahoma a month-long«test run» before making the official move in March or April) attempting to meet new people in the area and they held a wine tasting at Put A Cork In It. Quaint location right along the water in the Bricktown canals. Clean, warm, rustic, and welcoming interior. The owner treated us to several wine samples, many of which were absolutely delicious!!! My favorite was the Skinny Dip which was delightfulyl sweet and refreshing. Gotta buy a bottle of that goodness to keep you warm and happy on a cold night! The owner explained that all the wine is made in-house in a little brewery in the back. Some grapes are from Oklahoma but a majority used come from California. They are currently expanding and hope to start distributing their wines more broadly which I whole-heartedly support and encourage! Definitely stop by for 5 free 1-ounce tastings of wines of your choosing and then bring home a bottle or case of your favorite! Lovely experience and one of the best-managed, run, and maintained independent businesses in the area that I’ve come across yet.

If you are a lover of wine, you definitely want to hit up Put A Cork In It. One of the things I love about living in Oklahoma, possibly the thing I love the most is the people. The people here are kind, genuine, and down to earth. When you arrive at Put A Cork In It, you will get a true sense of Oklahoma hospitality and you’ll get to taste great wine made right in the heart of Bricktown. Walk in, grab a seat at the bar or in the front seating area offering views of the Bricktown canal, and you’ll be welcomed with a heartfelt grin and asked what kind of wine you’d like to sample. Guests are allowed to sample up to 5 wines for free or you can purchase a souvenir glass for $ 10 and sample as many as you’d like! Once you find a wine that you like(and I promise you it won’t take long for that to happen!) you can purchase a glass or two, or buy a bottle or several to take home with you. Make sure you check out the beautiful labels and the unique names of the wines … my personal fave is Skirt Alert Sauvignon Blanc, how clever! Or try the Indian Paintbrush Merlot, YUM :) Custom labels can be made and ordered for special events such as weddings and they have a private room that can be reserved for birthday parties, reunions, or bachelorette parties. Put A Cork In It is a hidden gem in Bricktown but one I frequent any time I get a chance … a great place to take out of town visitors, friends, family or your special someone.
