I was very disappointed with the service I was given. I feel I was overcharged, taken advantage of and disrespected. For starters, my item was not ready when I was told it would be. Then when i did get my item, i had to take it back because there was still a hole in it. After it was fixed for the second time I observed it and noticed there was still a hole in it! I clearly angered the worker by simply expecting good craftsmanship and legitimate work. For the work that was done, I wouldve rather done it myself. I will not be going back. ps: its cash only

This place is amazing!!! I took my daughter’s very delicate dress to have 3 inches taken in at the bust and 2 inches off the length and you cant even tell it was altered! Gorgeous work! And done in 4 days!

Silver Scissors used to be run by an older woman for many years, but she has since retired. Now it is run by one of her family members, but the quality of work is still extraordinary and the prices very reasonable. I typically take clothes here to be altered, such as hems or taking in/​out the waist of clothes. An average price for hemming pants is $ 8. Typically, she has a great turn around time for getting your garments back. Most of the time she will ask which day you prefer to come pick it up and will guarantee it will be ready. It seems to be that they stay pretty busy, especially since they have been in this location for over 25 years, so they have an established, faithful clientele. In addition to doing alterations, she also sews custom clothes, such as dresses, suits, etc. She also does beautiful, intricate work on formal attire, such as wedding dresses and prom dresses. In fact, I had her let out the bust of my strapless wedding dress, and then she added hand-​sewn bead work to it. I highly recommend Silver Scissors; they do quality work, are honest, and are reasonably priced. What else could you want?
