I was extremely disappointed. I have heard excellent things about this concept in terms of team building and while I do think that my team worked really well together I was disappointed with the quality of this event. It just seemed like an empty room filled with dollar tree decorations. I have yet to try Escape but the descriptions of what I’ve heard about their events sound far more well planned and elaborate. I will definitely try them the next time I am looking for an activity like this.

We went up to OKC for a wedding and were looking for something different for a little family fun in between the planned festivities. Trapped OKC certainly delivered. We trapped ourselves in the OKC room with ten people(ages ranging from 10 – 48) for an hour. The room was roughly the size of your standard hotel room(and not the executive suite). But it was plenty of space to house an assortment of puzzles and clues. The kids had a blast unearthing and them. But then again, so did the adults. I won’t spoil the room by sharing too many details, but the clues had a healthy variety of difficulty to keep everyone engaged. And, if you’re nervous about your sleuthing skills, there is a computer in the room where the staff can communicate with you. If everyone in your party agrees, a staff member will offer up a clue to point you in the right direction. Also, there is an emergency switch to let you out in case you need to use the restroom(or are claustrophobic). But beware, your time still ticks away while you are gone. We were able to escape within 38 minutes, much thanks to a clutch find by one of the uncles(ahem, and using 2 clues). Apparently, the room we tried to solve has a 33% success rate, so we all felt accomplished. It was pretty rewarding when we punched the right code into the door and unlocked ourselves. It gave you the feeling of being on one of those high thriller detective shows without all the guns and explosions. Trapped OKC would be an awesome place for a kid’s birthday party, reunion activity, casual outing, date night, or a team building work event. Just note, the max people allowed in each party is ten. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend it to any group of any age. Happy escaping :)

I met up with a couple grad school friends in OKC for a girl’s weekend(driving from 4 — 5hours away). We were looking for a fun, interactive, and budget friendly option for the one night we were in town. We ended up doing two rooms, because we loved it so much. Solved the first one and made it to the last code on the second one(so close!). Had a blast. Would definitely do it again.

We had a group date night here and had a fun time. I’m still trying to figure out how the girls won, but we still had a fun time! I would definitely recommend doing this with a group of friends. It was a fun time!

I went with my girlfriend and another couple for Valentine’s Day and it was a blast. We escaped the room with 5 minutes to spare. It was a great bonding and teamwork activity. I’m itching to go back if I get the chance. Can’t recommend it enough. Staff was great, and the game can’t be beat. Definitely worth checking out.

So much fun! Would love to have spent more time solving puzzles. We only had a group of 3 unfortunately, so we weren’t able to solve the puzzle, but the clues were fun to put together and we made some good progress. Loved the high tech way of getting hints with the screen that showed clues! Great fun for groups, a great activity for team building!

I’ve been to better escape games. The game was more frustrating than it was fun. Décor is on the cheap side, our dry erase marker and only writing utensil didn’t even work. The game is set up to be linear but the puzzles you unlock aren’t which basically makes it impossible. Also our clues were pretty worthless. I convinced a bunch of friends to try it cuz I had had so much fun at one in Hollywood. None of them enjoyed it and I feel pretty bad about dragging them all along. I feel like they tried to copy other companies but did it on a budget and it shows.

We had a blast playing the game — it was such a unique experience! We already want to come back and do a harder room.

We loved it!!! We had the option to book during a busy time this causing us to play the game with another group we didn’t know, or we could have waited to play. We chose to play with other group and we had a blast. This actually brought more excitement to the game and we made some new friends. Thank you Trapped OKC. We will be back!

If you’re looking for something fun and different to do, GOTOTRAPPEDOKC! I went with a small group of people and we had a blast. It was challenging and the time clock definitely puts on the pressure, but each time you uncover something, it’s so rewarding! It’s also a fun way to get to know people and learn how to work together. This experience is actually good for both leisure and as a team building exercise. You really do have to work together to reach your goal of getting out in time. The staff is also VERY friendly and the cost is extremely reasonable. They told us how they frequently change the rooms and games constantly, so I’m excited to go back for more and a completely different challenge.

You get trapped in a room and have one hour to try and escape. It sounded fun but it was not. You get put into a room with strangers so for me it took the fun out of it. I would have rather just went in with my group.
